About Me
Hello everyone! I am so thrilled that John Richeson has put this site together!!
SInce graduation from the 14th Corps, I have continued to love and help people. I moved to the San Francisco bay area.
During my WOW year in Seattle Wa. I met a great man, Mark Sirota, a hair stylist from New York. While I was in residence at HQ I dated Lin Kern who was on staff who also was a hair stylist.
The fact is that Mark and Lin introduced me to a career that to this day has given me so much joy and success and over the years and I have been able to help people feel better about themselves through there appearance and with their personal issues. As most of you probably know, people tend to tell there hairstylists everything and we do more to help people than most priests and shrinks!!!
As I got into the business of hair, I quickly realized that if I ever wanted to make a name for myself as a stylist, I needed to be in Manhattan or Beverly Hills. In 1990 I move to Los Angeles., worked my way into Beverly Hills, then expanded into Manhattan.
After 18 years of doing hair in Beverly Hills, starting with nothing, I now have a 5500 sq. ft. salon there. I am now manufacturing product and starting to do business all over Asia.
More on my career as a stylist can be seen on my salon web site KevinJosephsonSalon.com or KevinJosephson.com
I am so thankful for the foundation in life I received in the Corps and throughout all of the years prior, for example from The Rev. George Hendley. What a truly great man of God.
I'm so excited to see him as well as many others of you on this site from all those years!
I want to chat and catch up with all of you! I will be posting some random photo's and other things on this site as I can make the time. Please reach out to me with your photos and stories!!
