"Praying for Dee Dee and for the McGrath and Spada family members. Truly devastating situation. Hoping comfort finds each of you as you deal with the aftermath. Prayer is what I can offer your families at this time. God bless all of your hearts."

  • Hey you! I got your note, it was a weekend I was spending with Jeff Wendling and soooooo sorry for not getting back sooner.

I am not as much the "wild guy" you once knew ( although some think I still am). I have 3 kids and I gotta tell you my 23 yr old son and 20 year old daughter give me the "run for my money". They are doing quite fine and our 15 year old girl is trying not to do the "stupid" things her older brother and sister have done.

Your family looks "super" and perhaps are paths will cross in the near future.....Davis
  • Hi Karen,
I just sent you an email about Nancy, if you don't get it, feel free to give me a call 425 741 7334
    Terri
  • Hi Karen ... I think we sat next to each other for alphabetical Corps nights ... must have ... I can't remember how else I knew you then .. :)

So I guess you went into the tenth after that, So I sat by Nancy ... anyway ... just saying "Hi" after all these years ...

Congrats on the kids ... good that you are well ...
  • Oh, yeah--we've been! Bo's gone 3 times, I've been twice. We dragged Franklin and Foster and Teesh with us in early June. What a trip. I loved reading your vision of our precious Lord at the water's edge. It brought tears to my eyes. Oh how I long to see Him and be with Him in all of eternity!
  • Dearest Karen --thank you for the kind words and what warmth I was filled with when I saw your picture. Your kindness and purity of heart was immediately conjured in my memory. My aloha to Paul also, Roz
  • Hey Karen,
You look and sound as beautiful as ever. I am thinking of heading to Boston for a couple of days over the Holidays. I was at the Cape last summer too. My favorite place. Sounds like your life is blessed. I'm glad. Much love, Crae
  • Karen, thanks for your note. Put up a photo of Paul to refresh my memory ... the name sure rings a bell!
  • Hi Karen, A lot of memories on this web site, eh? Maybe one of these days we'll cross paths in B-town. I'm there frequently enough. Much love to you over the years, Alison (and H)
  • Thanks for your sweet note, Karen. I hope this finds you well.
    Lots of love,
    John
  • Well, not alot to say except that you have to take one day at a time, don't blame God, and know that you will never get over it but the pain will lessen. you will have good days and bad days and you will cry alot. the first year is a blur as you are numb. the second year is more devestating and the third gets better. my anna was 19 and was on her way home, the night before thanksgiving, she was a city year volunteer in harlem, ny. drunk driver. my prayers are with you and your family. i am 30 minutes from you. ashland, ma. god bless.
