  • Hey Michel, email me and let me. Beth and I would really like to hear from you and Jim. You can also look me up on facebook. I don't look at this site much and Beth never does; too many weird memories. I drop in from time to time just to see if I can find some one I wished I hadn't lost touch with. This time I found you!

    Oh, my email address: slvail@bellsouth.net

  • Michelle it's good to hear from you and that the boy's have grown so much - is the youngest operating heavy equptment yet?

Jane and I would love to get a recent photo of you guys.

Maybe you can email me on my private email which I will email to you.

Have a merry Chrisdtmas and a happy New Year filled with joy, prosperity and health.

    Love,

    Frank and Jane
  • Yeah, that ending was awesome. The whole story took such a twist. All those years he'd been fighting thinking he was the "normal" one. The book gave enough time for the reader to get a feel for how ruthless the doctor'd become - the movie captured that part well, I thought - the fact that he realizes what he's really been doing. I remember liking the way Matheson created such a brooding, spooky world that guy lived in but that was still rooted in his reader's world. Fine reading!
Look forward to checking yours out. Again - congrats!
  • Hello and congrats! Good news. Don't recall knowing you back in the day, but lived in South Fla. for a time around 1980 and loved it. Our son was born at Mercy Hospital. We ended up in Tampa, Citrus Park area and enjoyed it immensely.
I see you like "I Am Legend". I first read it when I was a kidling, few years aftert came out. It seems to have been a precursor to so much of the work that's been done since. What did you think of the movie with Will Smith? Quite a shift from the book, I thought although I liked what they did with it. The ending of the movie in particular was such a departure from the book's ending.

I also enjoyed "When Worlds Collide" and the second book, "After..." in my eariliest Sc-Fi reading. First Foundation, too. I reread that a few years ago, and it still stands up very well. Anyhoo....peace!
  • Hello Michel,

Can you put your picture up please? I am lousy with names but good with faces. So I will remember you if I see your pic.
I see you have written a novel? Well done. That's the easy part out of the way. I know all about rejection letters. I have a box full of them. But when you believe, all things are possible. So keep on truckin'.
Yea, the names of those twenty leaders of the nephilim are pretty interesting. I wonder can you match them up with Greek and roman gods? Azazzel is probably Apollyon aka Apollo. Mars, Kupiter, Saturn, Mercury etc. These were the Greek names but they have to correspond with the guys named by Enoch.
The Greek gods were usually famous for deeds they did or poweres they had. So you could matcxh them up that way, perchance. ie Mars was the god of war. Mars is the red planet and this is probably he who rides the red horse in Revelation 6, and goes forth to make war. I'll have to go back to Enoch and do some homework.
    Time to hit the scratcher.
    Gud nite,
    Paddy Heron
  • such good news from you.
hope your novel makes a hit.

    lets do skeep in touch
  • Hey Michel

How are you? We lost contact and it has been a least a decade hasn't it?

Jane and I are doing fine and I am still trying to put some things down on paper coherently(sp?) to finished a small book. My only problem is that I can't stop writing - I sure do not have writers block.

Give us a shout and let us know how you and the boys are.

  • Hey, yeah! I played violin! You know, I haven't heard or seen the Davila's anywhere. I hope they're okay. But nope, I don't think we were in the same twig there...at least I don't remember.
  • Hi Michel,

I was in twig at Gunnison with the Davila's. Were you in the same twig? I believe you play(ed) a musical instrument most commonly found in orchestras.
