  • Joan, I don't know if you and Frank will remember me but I remember you two and I think it was probably form my time in Maryland long, long ago. I first took the class in Annapolis in 1976 and was in the vicinity of Gaithersburg, Rockville, and other towns which now escape me, for a couple of years. Does that ring a bell? I remember you so clearly but the timeline and setting is foggy. Just wanted to say hello--good to see you here.
  • Okey, so that was long...............you're the only one I have written such an epistle to....
  • So cool you both and your girls are doing so well! Isaac is at Bowling Green University, OH again. He got an internship to go back for his masters in Enviromental Science and Health and Safety. Inbetween school he worked for Kinder Morgan, Honeywell, and Owens Corning, all in that field and said it really is becoming a very sought after field. Thought you'd be interested in those details because you said Sarah is majoring in Enviromental Science. Isaac is almost 26. Britt (23) and his girlfriend of three years, Kay moved to Athens, OH and are going to OU. He is majoring in Art, graphic disign, ceramics and drawing. He hopes to teach at Miami U, OH when he graduates. ( he went there for one of his years) Bo (19) is going to a local community college, majoring in business. And works about 40hrs a week. He lived up at BG with Isaac for awhile but now is home with us until he decides if he wants to go onto a 4 year college. Wyatt is 16, a sophomore in high school and is so fun, like raising Robin Williams! He he did play football but now has zoned in on his real love, baseball....with a little basketball on the side. He works at the pool in the summer and is a councilor at Camp Kern YMCA summer camp. They are all 6'2" - 6'3" and have given me a run for my money, but they take care of their mama! I help some in Brad's Edward Jones office, works part time in the local Centerville Historical Society and ofcourse, keep things and everyone here at home moving in the same direction....most of the time!
We too went to Europe for our 30th, to Portofino, Italy. I was an exchange student there when I was 17 and Brad has always said someday he would take me back there. We went to Paris first and then on to Italy. We have since been back, to Paris, the Amalfi Coast in Ravello, to St Moritz and Luczern Switzerland, and Mexico. I never dreamed I'd get to travel this much and Brad LOVES it. I wont go this year because I want him to take each of the boys since they have never been and It will be great one-on-one for them. Britt and Brad will go to Rome in a few weeks and see all the Art! Then Isaac and Bo will go with him to Ireland in July........Let me know when you all are going. Is it just you and Frank or the girls too? Take lots of pictures and let me see okey? I love you so much. My e-mail is christhorp@woh.rr.com if you what to communicate that way. I have somany great memories of our times "growing up together" love you, Chris
