  • WOW! Thanks for the cheer! I love your bio. Being in business for yourself takes a lot of trust in God, doesn't it? Sometimes I just say to myself that God got me into it and He's got to see me through as there is no other guaruntee!!

I have an undergraduate degree in Public Relations and after I got back from Mexico where I worked the desk at my father's beachfront hotel, I got a job in Boston at an advertising agency. Middle management, but I loved the three hour lunches with drinks (that would not happen today) and the fun clients from all over. Then after moving out here and having three kids, I realized that advertising in New Bremen meant sign painting, and I had to rethink my career options!

I went back to school and got a Master's in Social Work in 97 and in 04 started my own practice.

I really love this site, it's upbeat and honest, not like the greasespot negativity where you could be hearing from your best freind and you wouldn't know it for all the silly fake names! The only problem with it is learning to use it and of course, having the time to really write to all the people I would like to!!

So glad to hear from you. Your business sounds really fun. Mine is too, but it can be a bit of a downer sometimes!!!
    Love to you and yours,

    Dana
  • Hope, I was visiting Charlene Edges' page and saw your note about the 356 Cab. Do you remember when the cranshaft broke? Two years ago I bought an '84 911 but can only drive it in summers here in salt country.
When I read about your son I and daughter I am reminded of how much living that we've done since we left LA. I need to take the time to write more. Thanks for sharing on your page.

  • Hey you! Sorry I couldn't call you back- just got a new phone & being a bit technology-challenged, I keep screwing it up. This time my kids couldn't even help! LOL! Anyway, I'll try try you later. Meanwhile, please pray for Marcus & Mari & the baby trying to grow in there. More bloodwork today & lots of nerves. Thanks, honey. I love you & can't wait to see you!
  • Hi Hope~
How happy and alive and beautiful you are. Thank you for writing me~I read about your business and looked at the stunning pictures and am so impressed by your talent....seems like you really chose the right path. I love beautiful flowers and decor. I am happy for you and all your success.
    Love,
    Patti
  • Hope,
Thanks for your note. It meant a lot to me. I pray you are doing well, mmaybe when I figure it out I can paste a picture of Mark and I. Talk to you later.\

  • Hey Darlin'!
    Welcome back! How was Greece?
I'd call you right now, but I just found out today that I'm going to be a grandma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So it's a little crazy around here tonight. My oldest son, the new father-to-be, just left with his fiance & I have lots of clean-up before I finish with the 4 who still live in the house... whew, what a glorious (& exhausting) day. I'll call you tomorrow, promise! I love you & can't wait to see you!
  • You are so kind. Thanks for the vote of confidence--it means a lot to me. I always considered you to be a very special person--someone I was blessed to know--and to see the wonderful work you're doing and the lives you are blessing makes my heart sing. I guess there really was a lot of pressure and condemnation going around "back in the day," as my kids would say--I never knew it to do anybody much good!

This site came just in time for us to reconnect with so many old friends as we travel--it's an unexpected but very welcome added blessing. I just wish I had a place to put up my Christmas tree!

What a privilege you have to bring beauty and light to so many with your God-given talent. He made us to be creative beings and I honestly don't believe anyone is truly happy without getting to express the creativity He placed within us. So. Be blessed!

    Love you, girlfriend.

    Stanley
  • Hi again, Hope.

You were a breeze and a blessing most of the time. Mary and Patti were the ones who drove Ricardo and the rest of us 'loco'.
Yes, it sure was a good challenge but one I remember and cherish especially seeing the power of perfect intercession for the saints.
You are His masterpiece, in Christ,

    CH
  • Hope,
I think of you often and fondly.
Glad you're in touch with Chris.
