Hi Gloria, God Bless you and yours!
I don't visit the Way Corps Site very often, and, in addition am not always really prompt in answering communications. I live in Portland, Maine now. When my sponsorship dried up and I didn't get to return for my final year in residence, and I was in a whole lot of self-condemnation, I wound up in Texas and fellowshipped somewhat half-heartedly for 3 or 4 years and then returned to Maine. I am a native of Maine. I was born and brought up in a small town (Phillips) in central western Maine. On Route 4, about halfway between Farmington and Rangeley. I think I've run out of space. Love, in Christ, Terry
I couldn't remember your name from the photo Jaun took our last fellowship in residence. I have a photo of you and our fellowship (excluding me). I believe you guys gave it to me as a gift with a note from each one of you since I was the coordinator that block.
Do you remember Juan's last name? And who is the other girl in the back? I believe she was 13th Corps.
God Bless You,
TC
There's a pic with you in it under the Photos Link here, called Last Block by Tom Carroll. You should check it out.
Love,
Sue
I was chatting with Phyllis Heinz Tryon and she mentioned you lived in Montana at one time. I was telling her that we were visiting Maine and might have been able to visit you.

GOD has provided amazing stepping stones. We moved again- 2 major moves in 8 weeks! We are renting a very nice house right on the river (but not in the flood plain) Just in comparison to prices (we discussed house prices out east on the school bus). This house was formerly a log home that someone steel sided. The outside looks 70's and needs a little work. However, the inside is knotty pine, 18 ft ceilings in the living room, fireplace, huge picture window overlooking the river, huge kitchen, balconies on the bedrooms, jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, 3 acre lot with another little house on it that is currently a shed but could be turned into a guest house- 3,000 sq. feet and they are asking $180,000 but might take less. It is 15 minutes from our farm but only 8 minutes from my work, 10 minutes from kids school and 10 minutes from church. A friend owns it and has had it on the market for 3 years. HE took it off the market and gave us a year's lease. He's real artsy type of guy but not very good at maintenance. My husband was a contractor and can fix anyathing. It is too soon to determine whether we will buy this or build back overlooking the farm- up on the bluff but I am going to enjoy living here- that's for sure! I so enjoyed getting to spend time with you! That was so much fun at family camp!
It sure was a blessing to get to talk with you finally on the telly. Getting excited as we near vacation time. BTW, if you or your hubby or kids ever want any pix from the Hubble, let me know and I can accomodate you.
Love,
Susan
Thanks for writing back. Our reason for coming to Maine is that I've never been there and Dane has been talking about taking a vacation there. We are waiting to hear from his brother when he gets back from Maine to see what he recommends. Where exactly is Eagle Lake? (closest city).
We plan to take off the last week of September. Love to sample some of your cooking at the camp. I will give you more details as they are known. Are the leaves turning by the last week of Sept.?
You sound very busy.
with extravegent love,
Susan
