Elena so glad I saw you here. Reading about your mom's passing touched a fond memory of the time we met.
Was a WOW 2 in New haven in 76-77 and in the winter Masha and Marian showed up to bless our family. Your mom was such a spitfire. They got stuck in some snow somewhere and her comment was "we will push the car". I never forgot that only time of meeting her.
May have told you this year's ago when Mary Jean and I saw you in St.Marys.
I truly hope you get to the site and see this. Oh if your e reading then you did.
Hope to see you SOON!
Hello Elena Whiteside, I do not know if you realize, but your book the Way living in love is such an historic piece of history in that it has the only interview by Dr.victor Paul Wierwille in his own words.Time will show how magnificent a work it will prove to be. Thank you for having such vision to do so. M.Steven Paschal.
Thanks for the update. I think Bonnie Kim Campbell from Stamford or maybe my parents from Greenwich told me about your mom's passing. We do remember the window, the tennis court and the view looking west over the valley towards New York.
We have many fond memories of Masha both at her house and when we were more active in CT doing branch meetings in Fairfield County or at the Mahones for some special occasion. Masha was always intense, interested, interesting, kind and committed. And she was "in your face" both because of her passion and her failing eyesight later in life.
I also remember discussing your Dad with her one time almost 30 years ago after she had lent me the book he had written during WWII: 'Behind the Urals'. It made an impression on me then and, thinking about it now, may be a book that needs to be re-discovered in our time. I may order a copy from Amazon.
Perhaps someday we will meet again...well we definitely will but maybe even before that time.

I just gave my artist (painting) daughter a dog-eared copy of your book, God's Word in Culture. She looked forward to have a believers view of this field of the fine arts.
