About Me
After the Corps, I moved to Bloomsburg, PA. In 1984 I moved to Omaha and met my wife, Charlotte (Anderson). We were married in 1985 and had our first child, Joe, in 1986 before moving to West Chester, PA, where our other two children were born: Rick in 1989 and Amy in 1993. We moved to Landenberg in 2002.
My Interests
Obviously, God and His Son Jesus Christ and His Word are my first loves and interests. We've had a home fellowship with 10 or 12. We also mentor some young men mid week. Great blessing!
Additionally, tree care, gardening, my family and their interests are my main interests and keep me busy. 3 children and their spouses and 3 grandchildren (so far). Charlotte went back to school for 2 Master's degrees in Education and has been a teacher since 2011. She did all that after staying home with our 3 kids until our youngest was in middle school. Very proud of her.
Employment or Career
Since 1990 I have worked in the packaging machinery and inspection Industry selling capital equipment. I have had my own sales business since 2001 and now own the company. Since my daughter's wedding is not too bad, I plan on retiring at age 91. Haha.
Music I Like
I'm not big on music.
Books I Like
I read or listen on CD to about 50 - 100 books a year. "The Normal Christian Life" by Watchman Nee is very worthwhile reading. He wrote in the early 20th century and had a great grasp on Romans. Just a different way of wording things from session 8 that makes you think about things from a different slant. I strongly recommend it. "The Case for a Creator," by Lee Stroebel. Fascinating! How did anyone ever buy into Evolution?
Recent reads that are excellent are "The 5 Love Languages," "Love and Respect," "The Simple Faith of Mister Rogers," "Raising a Modern Day Knight," "Born Again," "How to Really Love Your Child," "A Commentary on Revelation (Bullinger)."
Television I like
Chuck! Sports. Occasional movie. NCIS sometimes.
Movies I like
Hollywood stinks. Not much there to offer either. Some good ones are:
War Room
Fireproof
Gifted Hands
Freedom Writers
Amazing Grace
The Ultimate Gift
Sports Teams I like
Philly Pro teams (Go Eagles!), CU Buffaloes.

I don't remember the entire group, mostly the events of the time. Refresh my memory?

Shades of the Grading Office. Everybody else would party after the eEmporia classes were over; you and I would retire to the Grading Office, to run the scantrons and compute grades. To think that it was all unaccredited, and didn't mean a thing in the end. Not worth the paper it was written on. Oh, well - at least we kept our minds sharp with Math!!
I hope that you're well and happy. Have a great time reconnecting with folks on this site. Love, Vickie
