About Me
God is good. Life is good. I'm happy, productive, and enjoying the fruits of fellowship and focused work. My children are healthy, happy, and equally focused. We have a roof over our heads, we have food to eat, clothes on our backs, and people to love. We live in America! What's not to be thankful for?
My Interests
My oldest child, Jon Anderson and his wife, Marlaina, moved to Seatlle WA for Grad School, taking my grandchildren, Amelia (9) and Noah (5). Jon has been a war correspondent/photographer for nearly 15 years, but having resigned his final post at the Pentegon, in favor of academic pursuits he has also taken time to enjoy his family, doing some writing and helping the wounded. Marlaina, another true minister, his best friend and devoted wife and mother, was the first to start grad school in Seattle. They both function as ministers without borders, having no particular affliliation save Jesus Christ. I am so proud of them both.
Katherine Rose is 19 and is a freshman at Miami of OH studying Art Education (k-12). She has complete confidence in God and prayer. She is bold in her declaration of the necessity of fellowship and without realizing it, she has become a minister of comfort and counsel to all in her circle. Sarah, 16, is an athlete - volleyball and basketball. Tall and lanky, she has her father's athletic genes. Both are great girls from whom I learn the greatest lessons in life.
Sports Teams I like
Local high school team: Sidney Yellow Jackets

New Knoxville often revolves around NK sports for me: Sarah is playing varsity basketball and today is trying out for club volleyball. Katherine is with friends and I'm getting ready to make sugar cookies with my grandchildren. I am starting a new job next month so now I am doing my best to get all of Katherine's college application/Fafsa reports done before I get knee-deep in my new job. I am considering picking up a piece of exercise equipment (oh, no, not that!) because I could use all the energy I can muster! God is good always. Today I examined the many causes for rejoicing: my favorite: because HE is my salvation. Please do come visit when you are in town. Do you see any of the folks that I would know?
Much love.
PS News about you? Jason?
How are you ! : ) What's going on in New Knoxville ? Next time we're there we'd love to stop by to see you all. God is alive and well in Ypsilanti, Michigan (and in us too !). Love, Laurie

I'm sure my maiden name is familiar to you. I met you at HQ when you were engaged to Jeff.
My cousin, Sheila Sinkking, worked with you many years before. (FYI, Sheila passed away a year or so ago from cancer.) We talked about it being such a small world... it still is. I'm glad John made this site available so we can keep it that way. Hi to Jeff and the girls.
Cathy
I never knew your name was spelled so significantly. Thanks for telling me about this spot. It will be so good to have in our lives.
We'll have to throw a party for John Richeson in the future.
That is an unbelievable story!!! Thank you for sending it to me. I often said my father ran his own private employee agency. He loved to help people and I am very blessed he helped you.
I miss him dearly. I was in NYC yesterday and stopped by his old office at 24 east 51st street. It is in transition at the moment. It is part of a resturant being remodeled now.
Nothing like what it could have been like in '90. Had 2 more surgeries. Life has been fun. I haven't had a bad day in 30 years and I'm not going to start now. It's really great to see you here. Thanks for all you did.
I never knew who you were, but when I read your profile, the quality of your words and actions seemed consistent with his.
