  • David,
Let's do that, how's this weekend?
  • David,
Hey there DB, how are you? I'm planning to see my friend Lenore in Tenn. soon. I thought I'd give you a heads up, not sure what else I'll be doing while I'm in the area. I moved back to MD.... life can be unpredictable.....understatement or what?
Have a great day and may you see the blessing : )
  • Hi Dave!
No I don't have any photos of Agape as a group. I think a have a couple of old snaps of Cathy..and Val. But not all together.
    Alison
  • David, thanks! Yes, I did know that Cash did a version of A Thing Called Love... I do have a copy of the Agape album the old 33 1/3 vinyl version! If you have .mp3 files that are better than the recording I did, I'd be delighted!
  • Mmmmm, smooth Elvis - like silk - or milk chocolate!! :-)
  • I've added four songs recently (I mix them all up when I add them): # 2 I'll Never Find Another You (Seekers), # 5 Little Bit Me, Little Bit You (Monkees), # 8 Thing Called Love (Johnny Cash) and # 16 Lift the Wings (from Riverdance). ;-)
  • Waltzing Matilda with Rod Stewart - I never heard it before. It is a bit sad. I looked up the words on Google to understand what it's about - I'm a bit slow sometimes... Rod Steward - what a guy! My newbies are No.16 Lift the Wings and No. 2 I'll Never Find Another You. They came out alright on the list... smiley-think005.gif
  • David, on your second note: Yes, Blessed is the nation...such a great song. It was good to hear Cathy's voice. Funny, but about a year ago I made .mp3s from an old cassette that I recorded from the vinyl album many years ago. Poor recording, but good enough to thoroughly enjoy! Agape was soooo talented!! I've sung The Fireside Song to myself at times through all these years.
  • Thank you David. I did enjoy going through your photos, thanks for taking time to scan and post them. Precious memories.

Interesting you should quote, "If you carry a grudge, it'll get heavier each day." I have been learning a lot about things like that... the effect of thoughts on the mind and my life. Most often we carry a grudge about ourselves. We forgive others mostly to unload the burden from our own shoulders.

God's forgiveness and the work of Jesus Christ becomes more and more awesome as I get older.

God bless you and love in Christ,
    Mike
  • Thank you, David. I remember you from the Emporia campus. I used to come up for Sunday Night Service, (I lived in Hutchinson). I was married to your Corps brother, Allen McDonald. I think you were also in residence with David and Lynnette. I'm pretty sure there might be some pictures of you around here.
