I just had my first while-you're-driving-after-5 pm cell phone conversation with him last week and was joking about it being a benchmark in my career at HDG.
He was more of a circular logic thinker so for us who think in straight lines, it could be frustrating and challenging working with him. But he was such a big personality and had such a big life. It's going to leave such a big hole in the community. His kids are very smart and very hard working but I don't know if they have the sense of commitment to the Stateline area that he had. We'll see. Right now Diane says Business as Usual so on we go.

Thanks for the tip on finding old friends. I talked to Margie last night. It was wonderful! Hard to believe I met her 34 years ago, seemed like we had just talked last week. What a loving family God has provided for us!

Great to hear your alive and kickin! Jackie and I have been up here in the upper left hand corner (tacoma,wa) for 23 years now.Our 4 offspring (no longer kids) and 5 grandbabies all live within 2 1/2 miles. I am a blessed and thankful man.
