About Me

I wanted to edit my age when changing my marital status!!! Last Saturday I married an old friend of mine (non Way). I have known him for 15 years and we have remained friends through my marriage and divorce and his moving to Atlanta and then back to Ohio... His name is Roy Pleiman (Ply-man) and I will keep the Rutschilling name for the sake of my business and my reputation and referrals in the area. Thank you to those of you who have known about our marriage and sent good (or God) wishes. I am such a blessed person, and have such favor of God to have the life I have and to have friends like you!!! I have four wonderful children and three of them are out on their own already. My bonus child is 10 and she and I live in a big 100 year old house in beautiful downtown New Bremen, Ohio. Population of 4500, up from 2000 twenty years ago! I've lived in the same house for 25 years now and it's the longest I've ever lived anywhere. Although it's the same location, life is always changing and God is always good! I feel great favor of God on my life and the lives of my children.

My Interests

This is the part where I sound kinda boring! I love to read, and exercise. Especially Pilates and Zumba. And of course reconnect with old friends on the internet!

Employment or Career

I am in private practice as a Mental Health Therapist. I have a home office so I can be with my family more in spite of evening and weekend appointments! I am excited about what I've learned in the field over the years about how God designed our souls to prosper! My approach is very holistic and recognizes the close relationships in soul, body and spirit. One specialty I employ is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for trauma reduction. We don't have to carry the past negative beliefs with us into our future! God desires to restore our souls!

Music I Like

Anymore I just like popular Christian music. I love to sing really loud with the radio when I am all alone in my car! I do take my daughter to the symphony for Holiday Pops every year, so I don't discount other music. I just like to fill my mind and heart with as much positive praise as possible.

Books I Like

The Bible of course. I love books that change lives and introduce life. Some of my favorites are:: "Feelings Buried Alive Never Die" by Karol Truman, and "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise Hay. An awesome book for anyone with children (or spouses or friends or even co-workers) is "How to Talk So Your Kids will Listen and How to Listen so Your Kids Will Talk". We have such power if we only know how to use it!

Television I like

Hardly any.... although my 10 year old daughter and I are fanatic about watching Project Runway" on Wednesday nights!

Movies I like

"Fireproof" is excellent, as is "Amazing Grace". So is "The Great Debaters". "Braveheart" and "Chariots of Fire" always did it for me as well!!

Good looking group shot. Beautiful family! I was just getting to know you when I was about to graduate from the Corps so I never really new the older ones when they were little. It looks like you you've done a good work.

I'll be getting some photos together here soon...I figure from these holidays we're enjoying right now.

What is the "Elf Myself" concept. Plerase ressurect it. It sounds very funny whatever it is.

You can take Van Morrison's Have I told you lately if you want and put it on your page and I'll remove it from mine. You need a few more songs on your page anyway. I like those two you have on there now. They sound really cool. Edit them and put the artist name. Who are they? Nice.

Dana someday I want to hear all about Momentus. Cradle song? Sounds deep. I think I need to avoid Momentus in that I have been beyond hopless for decades. But it's all good. Like Steve Wright the comedian says..."I'm in my own little world....But that's ok....they like me there."

Hey there Dana,
It's nice to hear from you. I was (and still am) excited to find this site. What a great way to reconnect with people.

Good memory from 20 years ago. I've been married to April and now have 3 kids. 2 boys and a girl. Thank God again for His Word or I wouldn't have a clue how to make any of this work. The good news is that is does work and always will work. Aren't we blessed? YES!!!!

It's a new day for the body of Christ and things are getting better all the time for all of us who love God. I'm sure there are a lot of war stories we all could tell, and maybe we will, but I think it's so cool to see how God is bringing us back together. Hey, we're still the the called of God. The gifts and callings of God are without repentance. (Preach it brother...)

Soooooooooooo, you look blessed and the same as I remember you. I never met everyone else in your pictures. I look forward to getting to know you again.

Hey- I was thinking about you today too! Just got home from work and YES, the house was still warm; An especially big deal on a night like tonight!! I've thanked God many times for Bubba's special tap on the furnace's "switch" that day! Like I said, God turned several challenges into victories that day (as He tends to do often in my life). Glad you are enjoying the flowers still- I just had a piece of the rum cake you sent home with me. :) It was a fun evening, wasn't it? I so enjoyed sharing it with your family and part of mine. I was telling someone today how great the food was. Honestly, that was the best tasting stuffing I've ever had! I loved it all. Lots of laughs during the picture-taking event too. You are happy with the shots we got, right? I like the pictures you have on this sight. I need to do something like that one day myself (the music is a nice touch too). Well, Goodnight. Hi Dana, Yes of course I remember you. Its so good to be able to talk to you again. What a wonderful website. Reconnecting with the past. Yes, I just moved back to Mass last Sept. I love being on the Cape. I live on the lower Cape 25 miles west of Provinctown. I am involved with the arts here and loving every minute of it. I lived and raised my children in So. Florida. They are all in college now. Then I moved out west to Boise Idaho for 5 years. Lived right in the city. That was incredible. And now here I am.
