I was the one who taught you to swab the deck. Are you still in England? Do your kids speak with a british accent?

It is really storming right now with a tornado warning. I'll get back to you. Love, John A."

  • Het guy... how's it going? So happy you are well. I was in Indy a few weeks back traveling with wife to Peoria for a few days. Could not pass thru without thoughts of you, old friend.
I wish my family could know you the way we got close so many years ago. Be well. Don B.
  • Happy Birthday John!
Seeing your name brought back to my mind your love and kindness back in our days in residence.
  • Hey, Happy Birthday to you.... enjoy your day...
  • Hi John,

  • Hey John...
OK this goes waaaaay back. I have to tell you about an "incident" with you that I still find hilarious after all these years. It was during the time I was dating your pal Greg Moore. We had already broken up and I hadn't seen him for a year. I had just arrived at Corps week and ran into you. You asked me if I had seen Greg yet, and I replied that I had not since I had just arrived. You told me to be prepared, because he had gained alot of weight. Alot. I think I asked.."like how much weight?" And you said he probably weighed about 350-400lbs. What could I say? Of course I felt bad. So then later I ran into Greg and he was ribbing me for falling for your story!!!! I should have known that a guy as fit as Greg would never let that happen...but in the end it was pretty funny....Hope you are well...Take care....
  • Uncle John???
  • Hi David,

  • Hey John, great to finally "see" you here! Welcome aboard and enjoy finding long lost family and friends. I'm still in the same place I was when I last saw you and it feels good/strange to have lived in the same place for so many years. The nomadic lifestlye was fun while it lasted (and while we were young and energetic enough to survive it!). Let me know how youv'e been since your Novaleg days and it's good to know you are doing well. Love you always, brother!
  • I must be getting too stinking old.. just the mere thought of old friends.. especially you John makes me choke up. Indeed sitting with you guys would be great. I hope God is as patient and merciful as I think he is, so we can have a good meet up in the future instead of a great dressing down. I won't pretend to advise God on what He should do. When ever I think of J.A. I always think there is hope for beggars like me, God' love and all. How did you end up in Ft Wayne any way ?
    Your friend, Don B.
  • Hey there John! Wow. Long time. Decades I suppose. Great to see you on here. Enjoy this stroll down memory lane.

It's a good way to find old friends from back in the day and to stay in touch with them. I, for one, will never forget our time in Emporia in the 7th Corps. That was the best for me.

Let me know if I can help you with anything at all. We'll talk more later.
