Cliff,
You know me from 5th Corps. I did ROA stage for many years and was on staff at Gunnison for quite a while, where I ran rodeo schools. Anything sound familiar?
God bless you Cliff- thanks for saying hello! You occupy a lot of room in my memory, and in good places. I hope all is well for you and yours and that great things are going for you. We are good, and thankful and moving ahead. Like you said once, I never want to do that skit again- but I suppose we were branded for life after the first performance. See you at 5:55 in sweats, or in the air.
Cliff, How good to hear from you. I just got back from London. I was down on business. I really can say that I am not a city person. Give me the green, green grass of home anytime. I cannot remember the last time we were together. I think it was at The Gluckin's or maybe not. I thank God for happy memories of times we laughed together. I am so thankful for what we have learned over the years from many teachers that allow us to know the one true and living God. In this day and time we have answers to those who have put their trust in man and what man could offer. Now more than ever we can reach out to those who are tangled by this world and truly set them free through jesus Christ. When people all around are screaming for help, we have it. He is our refuge and our strength, our aid in the storms of life. He is our shield and high tower offering us a safe place. He is our life's dream - there is no other like Him nor can any be compared to Him for His beauty is beyond our human comprehension. I thank Him every time I am allowed to enter the secret place. I thrill to enter in and to know the intimacy of a heavenly embrace. We are children of the Most High God and we are citizens of a new kingdom. We are foreigners on this planet bringing new kingdom values to a foreign Kingdom. No wonder they think we are nuts at times because they thought Jesus was crazy too. He only dd what he saw His Father do and only said what He heard His Father speak. If only we would only mimic our Lord.
Where are you living now and what are you up. Let me know! Have a look at www.mcphersonguitars.com and let me know what you think. God bless you, Don
I do a lot of business at CD Baby, I will head that way... hey, if you want to from a former troubadour (remember those?) scottpowellmusic.com. He is on CD Baby too.
God bless you. Nope, I don't believe we ever met...but there's a day coming when we will know each other real well. I just wanted to say there were two songs that helped me understand God's Word and His heart so much clearer. One is God'll Make a Way, Dan Moran, Don Graniero that bunch, and one you sang I don't the title but a piece of it goes, Sometimes I forget that I've been given my life's dream. Oh there it is My Life's Dream. They helped me as much as the Psalms do. Thanks. It still means a lot.
I have heard some of your recent work also. Just as beautiful!
