Hi Carroll,
My sister lives in Charlotte. She is the director of Easter Seals there and my brother in law teaches English there in Charlotte at a private school..
So I have some NC roots as I lived in High Point back in the 70s - when I did the Way Marketing progrm - hung around for five years - many fond memories -
I know Charlotte was always a busy place - booming. Someday I plan to visit her this summer maybe.
Anyway Hi - and bless you,
Matt Miller
You are so right! Nothing is sweeter than knowing that one's words and/or deeds have been a blessing to someone. In this case, we have been mutually blessed and benefitted by words fitly spoken. There is an expression in Spanish which conveys the idea of a mutually beneficial expression of gratitude--es mutual. Paul expresses a similar kind of demonstration of mutual faith:
Rom 1:12
12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. KJV
Our words reflect how highly we think of one another. Literally we think "the Word" of one another which supercedes thinking "the world" of one another. I'm starting to wax philosophical and get carried away. I might start to preachin' if you don't watch out.
So I'll close with warmest regards. We'll be in touch and let you know the next time we're in Charlotte, usually around Thanksgiving. Our daughter Angela is coming to Ohio during her spring break.
