About Me

After we graduated from the 10th Corps, I went to Eureka, CA with my sister, and Bob went back to England. After getting married in 1983, we spent a couple more years in Eureka, then on to San Diego for a couple of years, before moving up to the bay area (first child, William born in San Diego, 1987) followed by Robert in 1989, Stuart in 1992, and Ian in 1995. In 1996 we moved to Escalon, a small town located about 90 miles east of San Francisco. Bob finally quit the photography business and started his own window cleaning business shortly after we moved out here. I was busy just keeping up with 4 boys!! But a few years ago I began working for the local elementary school, and now I enjoy my 15 hours a week job at the school--there's still plenty to keep me busy at home. There are some great believers in the area (including my sister and her husband, Joe & Jeanette Evans)

My Interests

Since this is the first home we have owned, I have really taken on a great interest in gardening the last several years. Right now, I'm still finishing a project in the backyard. I have always loved history, & I enjoy reading subjects relating to American history. (recently read Gods & Generals). I picked up crocheting from a believer in Eureka years ago, & I still enjoy browsing the yarn shops for something fun to make.We like to travel as much as we can.We have been to England many times to see Bobs family and have enjoyed going on cruises lately.Our eldest son now lives in China so we would like to visit him in the near future.

Employment or Career

I work for the local school distict 3 hours a day and Bob finally quit the photography business and started Bobs Fine Windows proffesional window cleaning.He has been doing this since 1996 and is very content.

Music I Like

The whole family from Mom and Dad to the 14 year old are into the music of the late 60s early 70s.Bob and Robert went to see TEN YEARS AFTER over the Summer and My sis and I recently saw Loggins and Messina at Lake Tahoe.

Books I Like

Television I like

We are all into Seinfeld, Everybody loves Raymond,and the kids like most of the "adult swim" stuff.Oh and lets not forget Scrubs.

Movies I like

Bob is into political thrillers I like history movies and the kids like anything scary or a good story with special effects.

Sports Teams I like

We are all into soccer and root for England during the World Cup

Bob and Annette,
What is in that water in CA.? You guys look wonderful! Jeff Schmidt told me he saw you guys and that you still looked the same! We only live one town apart. He's who hooked me up to this site. Bob, you and I never really got the chance to spend much time in rez together but when I think of Annette I think of laughter! I love to laugh and I could always count on Annette to laugh with me! I don't remember any one specific time, just many happy light-hearted moments laughing with Annette and Jeanette. Life is good! Many people treat Janet and I like we are twins. Janet wishes!!! Ha ha! We lived together for a while a couple of years after graduating! Then we each got married, and after a while, we moved to different parts of the country and life goes on! I invited her on to this site.
How wonderful that you have 4 boys! Way to go! I have one daughter and one son. They are the joy of my life! I need to write on my page, and find pictures. I've been married almost 22 years. That lucky guy, ha ha!!! Well, much love to you both! Donna

Hi Bob, I am well and yes i do remember you! Scotland is great and although i haven't seen her for years i believe Cathy Capewell lives in Glasgow. I haven't seen Laura for years but i think she still lives in Southampton, England. Regarding Alison i know she is married with i think 2 children as i saw her about 5 years ago in Belfast at a Joyce Meyer conference where i bumped into Iain MacMillan too. Hey Annette, I have often thought of and wondered where you girls were. SO great to see you and read about your sweet life and family. My oldest son is living in Los Gatos right now. He likes it, mostly because of what he is doing there, and I want to get there to see him in the spring. Love those boys, huh? I have 3 and got me one sweet girl and she is my dearest friend - though just left for college and I miss her dearly. Love you, Connie
