About Me
Thankful, thankful for God's grace unto me and patience for me in my life! A little history --During Interim year and after graduation worked at HQ. I am thankful for the loving, wise guidance, instruction, & counsel given to me by Francis & Janine Diaz (I loved them & MISS them dearly), the Dieppas, and the Curtis', & the man who first witnessed to me, N.J. WOW Ambassador, Jim Malone, Merchant Marine. Thankful he never let up on me; obeyed God & continued witnessing to me. If anyone knows where he is, please let me know!!! I don't think he ever went into the Way Corps...; In '87, Married Frank (F.C) Farwell, 15th Corps, we have 3 children who love God --- Victoria, Austin, & Francesca (please go to Frank's page on this site to see EARLY pics of our them - he's more tech-savvy than I am for uploading pics & stuff. It'll take me a while!) LOL...LOL... Also thankful for God's tremendous love, grace & mercy in choosing to work with imperfect men/women who humble themselves onto Him. He has nothing else with which to work. Only Christ was perfect! No one else has been able to claim that label. Nothing, nothing, nothing negates God, His Word, His Will, nor His only begotten Son and his Return --Nothing! Not the imperfection of men/women, not unbelief/nor atheism, not bitterness/not confusion (remember, God's Word says, where there is confusion there is every evil work). So if you're finding yourself confused/"feeling" confused, look for whatever evil is lurking around in your life --- usually starts with dishonesty toward God. We may have been taught the Word by imperfect men, but God guards His Word, and NO imperfect life of men negates God's Word. One can use whatever excuse one wants for no longer walking/ standing/ or believing God's Word--but you fool no one, especially not God. God is waiting with arms wide opened for your return. You're already His--- you spoke in tongues. Time to come home and be confused NO MORE. Spend time in His Word again---it's the only true healing that exists. Never the less, we'll see you at the Return where confusion will be done away with and forever we shall be with the Lord and God! WHOOPEE!!!! GOD BE PRAISED!!!!!
My Interests
My children, my children, my children (so basically, first, my family); our Fellowship; my job at a high school (which I enjoy b/c I get to be around young people); reading, trimming the hedges (we have lots), and this is enough to keep me busy! And.....It goes without saying, God and His Word...
Employment or Career
Varied, but currently at GRACE University, O, NE
Music I Like
Christian (soft, worshipful, and contemporary), still----dancing music (bring it on) Funk, salsa, disco, classical (waltz), and listening to my children sing and play their instruments (they enjoy doing this in fellowship), and classic Dean Martin.
Books I Like
Bible/Research and Anything my kids are reading; and whatever comes my way b/c I don't have time to always shop for books on my own. Currently reading, The Wonder of Boys (great if you have sons); The Wonder of Girls (great if you have daughters).
Television I like
Something that includes human behavior &/or Law & order: Criminal Intent; Political Pundits (when they don't get on my nerves with their incessant talking), "Project Runway" (I love fashion - living in the Midwest hasn't dulled that interest); mysteries, dance, PBS, and well-made sitcoms ( love to laugh!) :-)
Movies I like
Musicals, Drama/comedies/children's (when done well); old classics of the '30's, 40's, 50's & 60's).
Sports Teams I like
Have lost interest. But...... every now and then I peak into the world of basketball (my favorite sport), baseball & tennis (my second favorite sports), and (you can't escape it living next to Nebraska) University of NE Huskers!!~! Go Big Red!!! Ooops! I mean, er..... Go Cyclones! (Iowa Sate U. where my daughter attends school).

Thanks for the note. It has been fun catching up with people. Somehow I didn't picture you living in Iowa, but I am glad it has been good to you and your family. If you ever come to the Gulf Coast of Alabama for vacation let us know, it would be great to see you.

I am in the process of coordinating a School of the Spirit for twenty-somethings at our formerly Baptist Church. I would be able to instruct as I was led to. This would be made available to all Christians in the area. My Senior Pastor (who has many well known connections) told me that he has very rarely seen someone teach with such passion, but that this is not always conducive to Sundays as it can scare some of the newbies away, you know all the abilities of Christ in them. So he came up with this School as a venue to impart this to the young adults. It would be available to all in the area as we fellowship with many churches. I pray that the Lord gives me much grace to accomplish this according to His plans, because the world needs it. I also just finished my first book on the Kingdom of Christ, and am seeing about it being published. So far it has gotten some good reviews.

Ah, the old Translations Dept. That's where I learned "Qui me amat, amat et canem meam" (Love me, love my dog.)
I still remember Gary poring over his Spanish Advanced Class tapes to find the place where Chris Geer said he translated "spirit of murder" spirit of homicide ... and this was supposed to be a sign that we were "losing the ministry." I think what we were losing was our minds.
Congrats on your big family. I have an 18-year-old boy myself, who just fled the nest and started school at Pepperdine U. in Malibu. He's going to be a lawyer, if not a judge, if not a senator. I also have a 12-year-old boy who is going to be a movie star, and in fact already played the lead role in a short film. I figure I will live off my kids in my dotage...
Great to hear from you, Anita, and glad you're well.
Amor y abrazos,
Carlos
I must say, we were the wild and crazy guys and girls of the entire Corps. Religious did not fit our nature.
Just saw Spencer Tracy in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, for 1941, it was very well done. Catch it if you can.

Bless you honey, I pulled out our interim corps picture from HQ a few months ago, and as I looked over all those familiar faces it brought back wonderful memories of great times and fellowship we shared together. Your a favorite. Thankful all is going well and you have a wonderful familiy. Couldn't happen to a nicer person. Will email later.
Love and Bless Russs
How are you guys? School started on Monday here and i have been so busy getting ready. We also had a baseball game on Monday night and i have a trip out of town to Dallas on Thursday. That is why i am up so late, preparations for my training.
Jorge started his class on Interpreting that he teaches at the University - tonight. He came home so tired. He is changing his class around a lot and so I think that is what took a lot out of him.
Benji, our 10 year old son was so funny tonight. i was wearing a new dress and when he saw me he said that is a hideous dress, i was amazed that he had joined the fashion police at only 10 years old and a boy at that. it was a horrible dress, but i guess i did not take a very good look at it until he said something.
well, i better put myself to bed or i will be one grouchy girl come morning.
Much Love in Christ,
Hugs,
Martie Dieppa
