About Me

Oh my . . . it has been so long . . . Lets see, I Got married in the Corp weddings when we graduated and was married to Roger Hunt (8th. Corps) for 16 years. During those years we first lived in Northern New York, then in Cheyenne Wyoming, then Casper Wyoming, and then in Greenville North Carolina before landing in Virginia Beach in 1988. I have had two kids along the way of life . . . Abigail 2 days before we left for Corps week in 1983! and Justin in May of 1988. Abigail is now 23, and has graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelors degree in Biology. She now work in the emergency room at the local childrens hospital and is taking classes that will allow her to take the MCAT"S later this year. Justin is now 19, and is in his second year of college. I have owned and then closed a flower shop called "Blossoms". Since then I have moonlighted in the floral world while pursuing a career in sales. Most recently I worked for 4 year with TruGreen ChemLawn. Roger and I have been divorced since 1997. He still lives in the area and our paths cross from time to time. For those of you that knew him he is alive and well and living here in Virginia Beach. After leaving TWI in 1986 It has been my joy to be involved with Christian Educational Services (which is now called Spirit and Truth Fellowship). John Schoenheit and John Lynn are truly two of my favorite people on earth! I have also been a part of several local fellowships over the years. I am currently attending a Church here in Virginia Beach that is run by some ministers that got there start in the Hillsong Church in Sydney Austrailia. Is is a very dynamic church of about 3500 people. I was blown away when I went to church one Sunday night and the minister led several hundred people into speaking in tongues! Surprise, surprise . . . imagine my shock as I heard a non Way minister say things like "you move your mouth, your throat, your tongue"!!! Little did I know . . . Sheila and I have stayed very close over the years. Her family lives up in Maine about 15 hours from here. But to me it is a short drive because I get to be with her and her wonderful family when I arrive. (Make sure to look at her profile too.)

I was always knitting so I never read until recently discovering audio books . . . since June 2007, I have devoured 20+ books. My favorites so far were, The Kite Runner!!!!!!!!!!!! King of Torts!!!!! East of Eden!!

Television I like

Football!!! Grey's Anatomy, Dancing with the Stars, Good Morning America

Movies I like

Rendition, Legally Blonde, The Bourne Identity Series, Good Will Hunting, Pirates of the Caribean.

Sports Teams I like

The New England Patriots!!!!!!!! (Tom Brady . . . can we talk!!?!!) and of course the great Boston Red Socks, and I like to watch Venus and Serena play tennis, and I will watch a little golf if Tiger is playing.

Hi Allison!
It was Sheila that told me about this web-site! I'd love to meet up in Maine sometime! I see Justin regularly... (Rachael has a bunch of pictures from over the years on a board on her wall.) She took a year off and started College at the Art Institute this year.
I enjoyed reading your bio... I was at a meeting once where Andrew Wommack was teaching and he lead a bunch of people into speaking in tongues... the same way .... you move your mouth....I was astonished! :)
I have really been enjoying how God works through so many in the body of Christ!

Sure girl, I remember you. I imagine a alot of us live closer than we knew. The internet really changes things. I get to Williamsburg shopping sometimes, and always make it to the beach a couple times a year at least, especially, of course, in the summer. Would be great to do dinner sometime. Mostly any time after the holidays are over. Let me know. Maybe we could meet in Williamsburg--lots of great restaurants there. mm
