  • Hi Alison - it is so good to hear from you! I was just in London and Edinburgh 2 weeks ago. You have a beautiful family! I am at work and will write more soon.

    Love,

    Irene
  • Well Alison. Lovely to see you here & welcome
  • Dear Alison,
I'm so glad to hear from you!!! I am so happy to know how blessed you are! I loved your comment about wondering if God mixed you up... but I KNOW He didn't!!!! You were one of the most compassionate and kind women I ever met!
I share a story about you regularly... it was when you stayed at my house in the Bronx before corp week. I was kind of use to the rough neighborhood I lived in and when I heard screaming outside I had even stopped running to the window to look. I remember you look out the window and in your lovely accent said..."Of my God, he's naked"
I'm not sure if you remember this but it was some guy on the roof of a car, high on drugs and naked! Anyway I like to share this story cause it still makes me laugh! Thankfully I can now look out my window and see cows!!!
    (a little less threatening!)
It was so good to see your pictures... You and your family are beautiful!
    God Bless You!!!
    Carolyn
  • Alison!!! How great to see you! What a lovely family! Gosh, I can still hear those wonderful longed-for words you so often spoke as the dining room hostess at Emporia: "Seconds are available." God bless you real big! In His love, Michael
  • My heart leapt for joy to see your lovely family. Like water to a thirsty soul. I thought of so many happy times, of giggling (yes and even loud laughter). You all look so good and I thank God for your precious lives. Hey, He's coming back and as we live with that urgent message in our lives it changes our world. Esther looks stunning and will have no problem winning the heart of her King. The rest of the Celtic brotherhood look well able to be playing for Scotland soon in the rugby. Boy, do we need it with Paddy Herron giving me such an earache about the Irish. Yes, Brian you have a good rugby team. Next subject! :) Hey we love you all and miss your hugs. Love & blessings, Don & Teresa
  • We too have a little Ian, he is our youngest at 12.All our kids have been to the UK numerous times so they really see themselves as being English dispite the accents. All our boys are still at home so Annie and I are still very busy being Mom and Dad.We see Jeanette all the time and I really enjoy the bond that the twins have, it is very special.Linda is doing well .Infact when we visit England she and her other half go and live with my Mum and we take over her house for a couple of weeks. They too live in Manchester.I can hardly express how much this site has blessed me.I have reconnected with so many friends that I thought were gone from my life until the return.Anyway Alison , write soon and really like to know about your family. Have I ever met your husband?God Bless, Bob.
  • Hi Alison, I don't recall ever meeting you but I wonder if we did ever meet? I was around in the mid to late 80s in Birmingham and visiting in London and then went overseas. Wouldn't be surprised if we had a few acquaintances in common.

    You have *beautiful* kids.

    Blessings, Hazel
  • Hi Alison
Good to see you signed up.
    Trust you are all well

  • My Dear Alison,
It's been a very long time! In my heart we're still the same kids we were back then! It's so wonderful seeing your beautiful face! Are those your boys? Good job! I really need to write on my page and find more pictures to post. This kind of stuff is not my long suit.
I have thought about you so many times through the years and yes of course prayed for you. I knew you"d be great where ever you were. I've told my kids about my friends around the world but it was almost seeming not to be real any more. I have an 18 year old daughter named Sarah that's in her firs year at college. She's incredibly loving, smart, and fun! I also have a son that will be 15 in a couple of weeks. He's such a guys guy. He loves to hunt and fish. He's really quite the character! He seems like a tough guy but he really is the first one to jump in and help people. My son is a lot like his dad. My son' name is Jesse.
David, my husband and I have been married for close to 22 years. He got in the word back in the 70s like me.
Well that kind of catches you up on me. We have always had fellowship in our home. We've been out on our own for the most part but that's ok. The Word still lives!! God is good! I love you!!!
    Donna
  • Dear Alison,
