  I am glad we will always have it here to remember him by. If anyone has any other pictures of stefan please sent them to me for a tribute I plan to do some day.

  My family and I lived with steve in Columbus, GA when I was in 8th grade. He was a great example of a man walking with God. He will be missed.

  Stefan Bernard Badarak, 53, of Cary died Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Wake Med on New Bern Avenue. He was born in Yonkers, NY on February 29, 1956.
  
  In the early nineties, Stefan and his family moved to Raleigh where he designed and built custom cabinetry, eventually opening Design Werks Cabinetry in Apex. Through the years, he participated in home-based Bible fellowships, and also enjoyed the outdoors. In 2006, the Bass Anglers Association awarded him Fisherman of the Year.
  
  Stefan is survived by his two sons, Kristopher Scott Badarak and Ivan Michael Badarak of Apex; his mother, Franziska Badarak of Yonkers, NY; his sister, Diana Barnes of Yorktown Heights, NY; and his grandmother, Ida Kottman of Germany. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Badarak.
  
  The family invites his friends and associates to join them for a memorial service at 4pm on Thursday, September 17 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd in Knightdale.

  This is sad news. Thanks for informing us Steve so we can keep the family in our prayers, Sometimes life is just not fair. Our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
