State of the Way Corps Site
Frequently I hear something like the following. " I am so sorry I have not been on the site in a while" , or "I apologize but I havent't been here in ages." That's OK. No need to explain or feel bad about that. Heck even I don't come on here that often.
Here's the deal. In my opinion, this site is not really designed as a social network or place to visit often. It's like a digital Scrapbook or old Photo album or home movie. It's fun to walk down memory lane once in a while and stay in contact with our many friends from our interesting past. But we don't look at that scrapbook every day. It's a fun corner of the Internet where we can share with one another and stay in touch in a less busy enviroment than FaceBook (which I am also on less and less). It's for a specific group who shared a Way Corps experience in one form or another.
And if you ever feel you need to leave this site that's ok too. No explanations, no questions no info needed. It is your own personal decision. (I can not do it for you even though I am site creator.) Here's how: How to leave a NING network
That being said, there are currently 1,560 people 1,575 people who have registered on this site and NING continues to add more improvements to the site. I hope to continue to see old friends and meet new ones on occasion. I would also like to thank David Bailey in Nashville and Sarah Wilkinson in Austrailia who have been helping with a few things lately. For example, David did the artwork for some of the nice headers we have. And Sarah has helped with new members as needed.
God bless, and may you and your loved ones have a prosperous and blessed 2011.

Thanks Jim and Merry Christmas to you today.
It's easy to do what you want to do (change your name) on this site. Just follow this link. Be sure to let me know if you need further help.

The Way Corps site is great. You were definitely inspired by God to put it together.( Philippians 2:13 and Isaiah 55:11)
It was and is a blessing. keep up the good work.

PS Could use some help changing my site name to Jim Daniels
You are welcome Hayward and Emil. Yes it does help us clearly see some things, Emil.
Like, for example, recent 21st Corps Member Rhonda Howard who states in her profile that she stays busy "teaching special skills to developmentally disabled children."
That's awesome! It reminds me of something Jesus might have done on earth today. Who says Way Corps alumni have faded away? Many, like Rhonda, are quietly changing the world and making it a better place in my opinion.I am sure the parents of those children, for one, would agree.
She also states: "I love God and believe Him daily."
Does that satisfy and encourage you Emil?
I will repeat a phrase for those who might consider that this site may not be an appropriate place for them:
"And if you ever feel you need to leave this site that's ok too. No explanations, no questions no info needed. It is your own personal decision. (I can not do it for you even though I am site creator.) Here's how: How to leave a NING network"
That's awesome Michael. Good man. Glad to see you and your wife are helping people. We need more people who are willing to do that.
I teach my own classes using 7 steps to biblical accuracy as a guide. There is no name for it, each class uses different examples from the word to make it uniqe to the students. I have had to change a lot of my use of words. For ex; Jesus Christ our promised seed, flowed naturally from my lips, yet I had to change. Christ thy seed is scriptural. I don't 'push' classes. When a handful of folks who are hungry step up, I teach. In the mean time I stick to our homestyle fellowships.
Our(my wife and I) doors are open 7 days a week and God literally sends strangers to our house. To us that gives a great priviledge and responsibility. Its funny, several folks go to their church on Sunday, then call or come see us during the week. Serve the word and the Lord sends the hungry. My wife was never involved in TWI, niether has she had PFAL, but she knows of it and is insistant that we teach Gods heart as He guides us through holy spirit and love. Nope, we don't promote or patronize any ministry. Plus, we have new generation with a new lingo and a techno-culture to reach. They don't want passed down TWI or other. We present the word 'fresh' and 'appetizing' and 'digestible'.
We have fun with God.
Bless you
Michael, just so you know, and I am sure you are aware....The Way International owns the copyrights on the Power for Abundant Living series. In my opinion it is not right to call any class by that name or to copy the material without permission from TWI. I can't tell if you mean you are teaching PFAL or if you have your own classes.
I have always encouraged people to form their own unique teaching series other than PFAL material. One girl I knew just re-hooked up with The Way ministry again because she wanted that kind of ministry and fellowship and teaching. How's that for a radical change.
Thanks for posting. I am glad you find enjoyment here.
Luv ya,
Michael
