In Memory of Terri Moore

Today is Terri Moore's birthday. I believe she would have been 51 today. Sadly, I was informed that our Terri passed away from a battle with cancer last year.

Here is a link to her page on this site. She was in the 16th Corps.

I did not know Terri but apparently others here did. From what I know she leaves behind six wonderful children all of who were home schooled. Their beautiful pictures can be seen on her page. I intend to leave her page here indefinitely in her memory. Any of her children or family are welcome to come on this site. If anyone knows them please let them know.

Dan Haas gave me a link to a FaceBook photo tribute he did in honor of Terri and her family. You can click on this link to see it and add comments there as well.

If anyone has any further information such as an obituary please post it here.

  • Hey Dan,

Honestly I don't recall who took the picture, I just supplied the camera.

I think it was a 14th Corps guy named Chris Baxter (I think) who was our group coordinator.

That was a reduction of the full group shot which is attached. I'm on the far left.

  • Hey, I sent that picture to her kids. It's really precious! Thanks for sharing it, Ron.
  • Hey Ron... did you take that picture?  It's great!

This August 14th, it was one year since she fell asleep. Her kids are all doing amazing. Audrey just started college this week after taking the first year off to be with her siblings.

    May God bless you, Ron.

  • I'm saddened to learn of Terri's passing, she was a warm and genuine person. Harry&Terri were on the same L.E.A.D.  adventure as myself and we shared a couple of rides as well as a significant learning experience during our "Duo"

GOD is Good always, and I pray that their children maintain this belief as their mother exemplified it in her own life.

The world is poorer for her passing

  • I feel the same way Helen did. Another amazing woman, eh?  : )
  • I may do that, especially with Audrey (who is 19).  Thanks, brother!
  • Hi Lois.  H and Terri divorced I think about two years ago. H is a wonderful person in his own right. He lives in Wyoming and Terri and the kids moved back to Hartly DE. Their kids are absolutely amazing.... a testament to what love works. My email is danhaasathome@yahoo.com.
  • Till will meet again Terri.8331167693?profile=original
  • Great songs Dan, in tribute to her. Thanks for sharing those. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those six children I am sure. Any of them can contact me if they want to sign in here or contact me for any other reason. I am easy to reach.
  • Dan,  I knew Terri in Cincinnati around 1980-85.  What happened to her husband?  We called him "H".  She was a wonderful person and I was so sad to hear of her passing.  Your songs are very beautiful and a fitting tribute to Terri.  She was definitely too young.  Please feel free to send me a private message.  Thanks for your post. lois
