"John, please post this info on the Memorium page...she went by Rene Wahlberg in the Corps (prounounced Reenie)...and I don't know if you can post her obituary and picture anywhere...but here it is:"
Noreen Signe Grever , 58, of Cincinnati, passed away on August 13, 2011 at Forest Hills Care Center, Cincinnati, OH. She was an English teacher and an accomplished actress. She was graduate of Loyola University, Rome, Italy and Anherst College, Woodstock, CT. Mrs. Grever is survived by her husband Roy Grever; her sister Maura Lee Wahlberg Burke of Fairfield County, CT; and her brothers Daniel, Lyle, Jay, Kent and Curtis Wahlberg all of Fairfield County, CT and William Wahlberg of Onset, MA.
Memorial Ceremony will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011, 3 PM at the Living Hope Commuinty Church, 458 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, N.Y. 12110.The Memorial Ceremony will be web cast on Kingdomready.org.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of your choice. Muehlenkamp-Erschell Fort Thomas Funeral Home is serving the Family locally. Online condolences can be given at www.dmefuneral.com

Replies
Rene's first year at Emporia was our final year there. She was good on the stage: I still remember her expose' on the Kenyon stage about how to shop for designer clothes at Sal's and Jacque C. Peney. Later, Rene befriended my younger sister, Patty, when Patty was in the College Division at Emporia. I last saw Rene in Rochester, MN during her sister's medical treatment, about 1988. We'll see you in God's kingdom, sweetheart.
