  • My heart is sad - I met Buddy at one of my Advanced Classes and then again when I was in Georgia. He was a joy to be around and a great mentor. What a great man! I'm thankful I'll get to see him at the Return.
  • Buddy was one of the great lovers that I was blessed to Know, watch, and learn from in my life. To me this is a wakeup call to not take each other for granted. I've learned in my life that when God , by His great mercy and grace brings you in contact with someone who really walks with the love of God in the renewed mind, you don't want to waist the opprotunity to watch and learn how to love people to an even greater degree. Buddy was one of the all time Greats at the art of love.

  • Buddy Curry was a great man and I am saddened that I won't be able to see him until the return. May God's comfort be with his family
  • Wow. Was saddened to hear of Buddy's death. I first met him when I was a WOW in Augusta, Ga. in 1975 (with Gene Bianchi & Rik Sanders). Definitely was a gentle soul. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

  • I knew Buudy and his family when I lived in Marietta, GA from 1993-1996. We got together as a state a few times and he and his family stood out as people with genuine hearts of service towards God's people. He crafted a beautiful cherry wood bookcase for some people to bless them. I think of that often because he put such love into the detail of making it; I thought he was a great example of God's heart.
  • Shit! That's what I think.

There are a few people that ought to live forever, or at least longer than me. Buddy was one of those.

His smile came from down deep, and he glowed like a lantern. I always knew that Buddy loved me, and everyone else did too!
  • There is a sting to death. I felt it in my gut just now when I read about Buddy's passing. But there is a shining Hope of Christ's Return before us as well, and that puts a smile on my face. All love and comfort from our great God to Debbie and Buddy's loved ones. God bless you, Barbara

  • My prayers and love go to Deb and the entire family. I was in residence F7 Way Corps along with the Currys (f5). I always thought, and will forever think, of Buddy as a wonderful Man of God who loved his family and loved others with an awesome, tender, caring love. There were many instances while in residence that I looked to him for guidance, comfort, etc. He was never too busy to give of himself. He will be missed greatly by all. Thank God we know the truth and can comfort one another with HIS love. Agape...Laura Rellinger Bolin (f7)
  • "Catfish" Curry will be remembered long and well. When he was at the Way Nash, I was there with Way Prod. He took me out to Lake St. Mary's one night about dusk one day and taught me the fine art of catfishing. I'd never done it before and it was a blast. He caught 5 for every one of mine. We piled 'em on and had a big fry later. We went often that year, I always enjoyed his company and open heart.

Few years ago our family went up to Clear Lake in northern California, camped every year for a few years in the summer. Fished for bass and took a turn at their Catfish population, and caught some huge mommas. While my son and I were hooking up I told him about Buddy and his teaching me how to fish for Cat' and passed on the knowledge. He loved it and caught his fair share and then some.

All our love to his family.
