  • I'm not sure about this, but I think the original version had a recipe for "soaked familia"...
The second printing deleted it, thanks to some of us...;)

  • OMG...I am laughing at myself...I have THAT book too. Right in front of me. If there are people interested, I will see if I can copy the book to a file and post here. Ok...let me know all, if you are interested!!!
p.s. My copy was given to me by Imogene Allen, and was put together by Louise Lieber, Grace Bliss's daughter.
  • Dave, I don't know of anything Dr. shared about burgers other than you flip 'em when the juice starts showing on the top, then they are done when it happens on the other side...

  • I still cant remember how Dr. cooked his hamburgers. According to this site, there was a certain way. Does anyone know? I dont recall for the life of me.
  • Why not post them here in this thread for all of us? Has anyone tried Google?
  • Hi Nancy...
God bless. I have one of my copies, but found that David Scovel also has it posted on the 14th Corps group main page LEAD cookbook). He apparently has it downloaded already and you can just click on the hyperlink he has on the main page. If you have any troubles, I am sure you can just ask David Scovel. I will also check and see what else I have...I kept quite a bit of those things!!
