Dear Fellowship,
The longer we live, the more we will have invested in the return of Christ, the more what it stands for will mean to us.
John Crouch was a great help and example to the body of Christ in his gentleness and love for us. He gave us a greater understanding of the stars in relation to the Bible. He was a rare gem in that he was a man wise of science and Godly wisdom of the scriptures. He taught us true science and true scriptures don't contradict each other.
I always saw him as one of the "not many" from 1 Corinthians: "not many wise men, not many mighty, not many noble that are called." He took the challenge to give us a better understanding figures of speech in the Bible.
We are very thankful for his life and teaching. We are looking forward to the return of Christ.
Here is a video we put together with some footage we had of John Crouch.
In remembrance of Rev. John Crouch, the sharpest knife in the drawer:
Until then,

I remember the first time I was in residence in 1979 and heard John teach us about figures of speech in the bible and later about the Word written in the stars. It blew my mind. I remember being overwhelmed with awe at how Psalms 19 fit with the entire scope of the Bible. His passion and excitement were contagious. Though I must admit I never learned much else about the constellations or even FoS, I developed a huge appreciation for what they represented and specifically how the stars revealed the birth of Jesus Christ.
What a rare moment and privilege in life to have heard John reveal things only a few of us now know because of him. It is a huge loss to the body of Christ and yet we have so much more confidence in the hope because of John. I'm so thankful to have been able to sit at his feet and hear him share the greatness of God's Word in the stars and the amazing way he shined so much light on figures of speech.
