BLOGS

Blog or Article?

Blogs often focus on personal opinion, experiences, views, anecdotes or advice. Blogs tend to have a relaxed and conversational feel, such as in storytelling and are generally 300-500 words.

Articles aim to deliver well-researched, informative content with solid evidence to back up the points made.  Articles are usually more formal, organized and frequently range 500-1000 words.

Hi! Glad You're Still Breathing!

Well, I may not be around too much, not because I'm snob or not glad to see some of you guys, I'm just busy. But hi! I was probably the least memorable person in the Way Corps, so if you have no idea who I am, no biggie. Glad you're well. Life so far finds me divorced, working for in a 'Christian School' for a guy who thinks he's God's gift to all Christendom. But I have two excellent children, sons, who make the BS worthwhile.I've written and had published a number of short stories, even in print, (Lol!) But just for fun, here's a link to one I did for an e-zine if you feel like checking it out. It's called 'Sound Byte from the End of the World' and I wrote it for Bohemian Alien. The editor there is so great, what can I say, except I'm proud to be her bitch! (If that just confused you, no I'm not gay.)http://bohemian-alien.net/ezine/2008/02/21/soundbyte-from-the-end-of-the-world/

  • Here's a link to the movie site: http://www.expelledthemovie.com/ It's all about the strangle hold the scientific elite hold over idea's in this country. The very idea that Darwin might be wrong in a few places is blasphemy to them. Like Richard Dawkins (Darwinist poster-boy) says, "As a scientist, I am quite hostile to a rival doctrine."
And amen on the Lord NOT expelling us, eh?
  • I don't know about Stein's film "Expelled" - though I've been expelled from so many groups...glad the Lord won't expell me (John 6:37, 38). Where can Il earn about the film and your article?
  • Hey, Chuck, thanks for reading, I really appreciate it! Yeah, the more things change, the more they stay the same. I have another story coming out with them next month, and a short article about Ben Stein's film 'Expelled. I can't wait to see that!

I don't have much of a presence among main stream Christians with my writing, but out of the loop Christians, like the ones who read The Alien, seem to enjoy it. Proud to be on the outs with you!
  • Michel - I read your story, "Soundbyte from the end of the world" - I was caught up from the beginning. Thought it was in modern times at first and then was slammed back into the past. But people would act the same today - people don't change do they...without the liberating grace of God. Thanks for the story! I'd like to read more!
