Meagan, AFTER graduating from that Maritime school and serving on the US Merchant ship the M/V Matanuska. She had just "come forth" from the ships' boilers after having cleaned the "tubes". This photo is a classic example as to why the engine room crew on ship is often referred to as the "Black Gang".
