Another guy on his bike went along. It was his first fellowship. I got to where I could lean back on my pack, lock the throttle, and steer with my feet. People took pictures of us as they passed us. LOL
How cool man! Easy Rider...check out that raked fork (or at least looks raked) You had lots of fun, at least for the first couple of hours, eh?! and no windshield to boot! ouch! If this is the "aqua blue & white" Honda 350 I had this "same color" Honda 350 at one time, didn't have the raked front end but did have mega-phone pipes on it.
I once made the trip from ROA to Jacksonville, FL on a Kawasaki 3 -cylinder....it was rough, I can but imagine how you butt and lower back, along with your neck muscles (fighting the wind to hold your head and helmet up) must have all ached!!! But then again, at that age...maybe you didn't feel it at all.
I finally after 8 years put a windshield on the bike I have now....what a big difference it has made.
