I was trying to be sarcastic here. There were (and are) no big red barns on the Emporia campus. The above picture was taken at Headquarters, in Ohio, in front of the pond.
I don't think they took down the barns between the 13th and 14th Corps years -- but you can check with some of the trivia pros on this site! I see you know Michael Jones! He and his wife, Tina, are very good friends of mine. As for the girls posing together -- I made them do it, well, not really -- but I think photo shots are the closest they get to each other. That's okay. They're still young -- That's their fault! There's so much they have to go through (to quote Cat Stevens). I have to go back to your profile to see how old your daughters are and where you live, etc. I'll catch you over there. Thanks for writing to me!
Frannie, I don't know if Patty will see this note on this page. She sent me the pic of the 11th Corps at Emporia and I added it to my photos. Have you written to her directly? It sounds as if you know her well -- she IS cheerful and wonderful, and she may know where Jake and Chris Ann Jacobs are. You may want to cut and paste your comment above to her home page.
