  • The Lord is the whole - we know in part and we see in part - but when He returns we and our understanding will be whole -
So I am searching for words - that will bless you on this Sunday to reach you where you are - you say you were only a teenager - and the Lord has seen you through.
there were bad times in Ohio -
So under your heart I will lay this beautiful rendition of Psam 23 on the Lord seeing you through.
It is a little different and pretty.

The Lord to me a shephard is
    want therefore shall not I:
He is the folds of tender grass,
doth cause me down to lie:
To waters calm me gently leads
    restore my soul doth he:
He doth in paths of righteousness
for His name's sake lead me.
Yea, though in valley of death's shade
I walk, none ill I'll fear:
Because thou art with me, thy rod,
    and staff my comfort are.
For me a table though has spread,
    in presence of my foes:
Thou dost anoint my head with oil,
    my cup overflows.
    Goodness and mercy surely shall
    all my days follow me:
And in the Lords house I shall dwell
so long as days shall be.

    Your brother,
    Matt

  • I know - that. The job is never completely finsihed is it?
I enjoy still calling my parents and asking them for advice - they always have it. And I stay in touch with them every week - so will yours I am sure - what's the song "I am so thankful I am in the family of God"?
We still call our God - and say please help me this one time! Just like our kids.
    Matt
  • well thank you..
I hear ya on the joys of raising kids.. and my youngest turned 18 and I thought I had graduated haha it never stops..
  • My daughter took my picture too - at a local park last summer-
I run my own business - I am in my office now - it looks like it might make it - running your own business is like raising a child - heart ache and joy but the best part is that its yours and when things go well its all worth it.

I am also in the research part of starting a novel - it will be a challenge but I hope to grow by doing it.

You look happy on that tree.
Would be nice to take a Sunday walk with you -
    Matt

  • Hi Robiin,
I am doing just fine - a liitle time on my hands - and you?

By the way that is a lovely photo of you - nice - green and summer.

    Matt
  • Robin,
The hands healed just fine! Glad you remembered. I sure enjoyed playing, being at HQ and meeting so many great people.
It is great to hear from you. Glad to see you are well. I guess we all grew up a lot.
I still find great joy in God's Word. I am really thankful for my wife and two kids. They love God and me!
So much to be thankful for. And much more to learn.

    You are favored by God.

I had to go to your web site to figure out who you were since I did not recognize your last name! Glad to see you are still spelling your first name correctly (ha ha). Is San MArcos near San Antonio? My daughter lives there for now.
    Blessings
    Robin
