  • Kristen, I don't think that we ever knew one another well "back in the day," but I've just pre-ordered your book from Amazon. Good luck with it. Love, Vickie

  • hi kris

I don't believe we have ever met, but we have a mutual friend/acquaintance in common at Greasespot Cafe. I admire you for finding your voice, and articulating the enigmatic labyrinth of The Way. Best wishes on the success of your book.

  • Thanks, Kris. I will take a look at the website you provided. It is helpful to connect with this community, and "talk" with old friends who have had similar experiences to mine. I may send you an e-mail soon with other details that I'd be interested in having your insight on. I also look forward to seeing your book. Maybe I'll send you a little writing if you truly have time to read it--believe me, it's okay if you don't. Right now I'm writing several articles on vintage snowmobile collecting--I knew nothing about it but uncovered a local event and the newspapers were interested. You learn new things every day!
  • Hi, Kris. I'm so interested in your book. You may remember me as LewEllyn Finch. You were one of the wonderful people who nurtured me in the Word when I was first learning about God and the Bible in Maryland in the '70's. My husband and I just phased out of the ministry around 2004 after over 30 years of commitment to staff, Way Corps and other responsibilities and service. I have replaced it with...nothing. And I feel a little like flapping in the breeze, but it's a time to reevaluate everything I'v been taught and make some of my own choices. It's difficult. I'm a writer, too, but have never been able to write very well about these things. I look forward to visiting your blog and reading the book. Great to "see" you again. Where are you in New England? We're in New Hampshire and often travel down to Massachusetts. Are you close? If you do a book signing I'll come!
