  • Hey Kris,
It is so good to see you here. I knew you from maryland before we ever went into the corps. Was Sue Matesic in your light bearers group. I know Christopher Brooks was. I was sitting with him in his office and told him about the site. He saw you and immediately wanted to send you a note. Anyway, happiness in life is so important. It sounds like you are happy. I am very happy to know this and to finally be able to say hi after many years. You have crossed my mind many times since then and it is a comfort to know things are good.

  • 32 years of marriage. Good for you! I can only hope that the love of my life and I will spend that many years together. Congratulations! It was great to hear from you and know you're doing well. I've thought of you through the years also. amazing that time goes so quickly. well, God's peace to you my friend, best to you and your family, kris
  • Love you Kris and it's so good to see you here. I've thought of you so often through the years.....remembering our times in Rye and then in a "hootch" somewhere in Kansas listening to the coyotes howl through the night. I'm thankful that you are happy now. I imagine you are an amazing "listener" now as a clinical social worker. Read your blog and remembered teaching my children critical thinking skills. There is just a bunch of junk in life to sort through. I'm thankful that you survived to do the sorting. God is good. Have a fun visiting old friends here!
  • Dear Kris: Just saw you on the site and had to say hello. So many changes in our lives. I did read some from your blog. I was reminded of how much I love to talk with you years ago. You have always been one to think so deeply, thoughtfully, honestly. Chris and I are doing well and would love to stay in touch with you. Much love, Brad and Chris
  • Oh my gosh Kris- I have often thought about you with much prayer and love and concern.
It is a blessing to see your face again.
I'd love to sit with you and share a cup of coffee
and catch up, too bad we are separated by most of the country , LOL.. if you ever out here, please look me (us ) up.
    God bless you richly-Nancy

  • Hi Kris,
I was very happy to see you found this site. I love your daughter Kate - she is always a pleasure to talk to... such a deep thinker! You can see lots of pictures of my kids and grandchildren (from Ruth and Sean Finnegan) on my page. My son, John, and his wife Grace (DeNenno) are expecting their first baby in July. Life is good.
  • Kristen, great to 'meet' you! I enjoy your blog and look forward to the book... take care of each other...
