About Me

we(Kris and I) moved to southern California almost a year ago.....to a little town called Seal Beach.....and we are less than a block from the beach.....Our sons are 27(TIM) and Chris will be 24 in March....i miss them terribly....Tim is recoding an album with his band "wild light" and he lives between boston and new hampshire(our home for the last 20 years) Chris is living in Geneva Switzerland....working for a college roomate... oh, for the first time since leaving the Way, i am in a church i LOVE....first time in my life!!!! yeah God....that's all i can think of for now....

My Interests

antiquing, reading, bicycling, decorating, walking on the beach....

i was an antique dealer for the last 6 years in NH... i mostly painted furniture--shabby chic look...but only furniture that looked crappy....if an antique is in good condition i will not paint it.....but it's fun to take crappy stuff and make it look good again....

Music I Like

Andrea Bocelli....u2....Arcade Fire(my son's old band which has made it big)and Worship music....sounds religious, but i still love it....

Bold Love and Leading with a limp are 2 books i am reading right now....both by Dan Allender.....and i am reading Kite runner The Message larry crabb booksi usually like.... the sacred romance is in my top 5

Television I like

HOUSE the last several week sof american idol-- when the really good singers are on..... inside the NFL--but only when the patriots are winning

Hey, girl! California? WOW! Glad to hear that you found your "niche" in fellowshipping with likeminded believers there in CA. Donnie and I have started attending a fellowship in North Yarmouth, Maine about 1 Hr. and 15 minutes away. It was so refreshing! Thank God. This is 2008, the number 8 meaning new beginning. Hey Katie, It has been a LONG time! Timothy was a young child last time we visited! Our son Gordon is 20 and daughter Sarah 17. I'm doing portraits and signs (check out my web page) Don's in the medical field. I lived in Rochester N.H. Got in the word in Manchester. I have a sister in Simi Valley, CA who loves antiques and all that stuff like crackling that makes things look old.

Hello old friend! Thanks for the note. Great to hear from you again. Yeah, I am just as surprised as anyone else at this sites' popularity. Warning it is addictive, ha, ha.

I started it only a few months ago with the intention of having a little fun and invited a few friends and buddies. I wanted a neutral place for everyone from all walks of life and varied interests and belief systems to be able to reconnect on something we all had in common decades ago.

Apparently this is a formula for success because now we are 825 members.It is a blast.

It was awesome to see ya'll years ago at Reahards. We have evolved and changed since then. No hard feelings anymore and moving on to bigger and better things.

We DO plan to come to CA one of these months. We plan to go sometime this year we hope. Do you live anywhere near Johnnie and Janet Ruiz? They are in Northern CA. Paul Cuco lives in CA too and several others who are on this site.

I'll catch up to you later. Say hi to Kris. Post those pictures one of those days.

Oh by the way!, love the pic you posted of yourself and the "Big Guy...lovely Kris" you guys look marvelous. Another thing you and your sister amazingly look the same. In addition..and come to think of it...alot of you guys on this site have that same "grayish thing" goin' on. I love you from here to Bloomsberg and back. Oh man!...what fine times we had in Chicago. I recall the time Kris and I went downtown where VPW stood to see that "black heart" thingie' from PFAL, we were "nuts"

Great to hear from you! Charlotte is doing well as are the rest of us. However, to start off with I have one beef. What is the Patriots/Red Sox crap. For an ex Philly girl? Ha, ha! Can't wait to see some pictures when you load them. What inspired the move to CA? We live on the border between MD, DE, and PA in PA. Charlotte also loves to paint and did some furniture painting and loved it. She now works for a local school, though, so doesn't have as much time for art. Our second son is an Art major for now at Lycoming College in Williamsport.
Well, say "hi" to Kris. I'm sure your kids don't remember us.
