  • Hello, again my dear friend!! I was so excited to see you made it here, finally!! I don't get on this site often enough, but, when I do, it is always a blessing to see the reconnections of our lives in the body of Christ! I can't tell you how much your visit here last fall meant to me. It was sooo awesome getting to spend that late evening together with all of you. Such sweet memories now tucked away in my heart. The pictures I took then, I still need to send to you!! I haven't forgotten, just not gotten a "round-to-it" yet! It will happen! Until then, Know I love you and you are the Best!
    Always,
Mary ps Give my hugs and love to everyone!

  • Heya there Barbie! So you are a Gramma now! So nice that must be! Well, we're still in Alaska, but down in Juneau now. We still own the Haines house (the one Don installed the carpet in) and are renting it out for the time being. We are thinking about dumping it though.

Ennyhoo, nice to "see you here, amd make sure to give our love to Don and thye kids!

    in Christ,

Kevin and Shannon (she's in the kitchen right now and cookin' dinner and so sends her love with this note)

    P.S.

My kids still remember your chickens that laid different colored eggs.
  • Hi Barbie. Welcome! 9 kids! It's great to see you and Don on here. It was fun being in the 7th Corps with you. What an experience we had!

9 kids! Goodness. Sounds like my family when I was growing up with 12 brothers and sisters. Click here to read a blog about it on my page.

I hope you can eventually post some pictures and tell your story. We'll catch up later. Contact me if you need anything or need any help on the site in any way. Say hi to Don.

  • God Bless you Barbie,
I don't communicate that much here but I check this site to see the new members at my office when patients dont show. Its great to see what your family's up to after all these years. I told Katie but she already knew through Elena, pictures and all! I knew Elena kept in contact. If you remember Don was my roomate on Parnassus ave. when I was in dental school in "75. He is my longest dental patient that I still Know. 34 years? If he doesn't still have those crowns I hand made him in dental school he'll get some new everlasting ones at Christ's return! Michael, my son and Christy my daughter were each first chair for 3 out of their 4 yearts at their high school and they were both members of the Toledo Youth Orchestra. Christy went on to play in the non music major orchestra at Univ. of Mich. If your going to listen to your kids practice their instruments for 12 years violyn is so wonderful. Give Don My love and we'll just have to carch up at the dinner table with Jesus in His Kingtdom soon.
    Love in Christ, Dan
