Xristin,
God bless you! I was looking on here and came across your profile. I am blessed you made it on here. I also knew Joe from 1978. He was a 'big gun' spiritually. I am disappointed to hear of our loss.
I'm thankful you are still pursuing God's Word and medicine. My profile may interest you. I tell people I have not had a 'bad day' for 37 years. But with the surgeries I endured, I have had my share of hard ones.
I appreciated knowing you in-residence. Your laugh was a great pick-me-up in some of the stupidity we went through.
I would love to have your email. Please send it to my email address on my profile.

I don't know if you remember me or not but I was in the 12th Corp. I was soooo blessed when I saw your name, remembering that you spelled it w/ an "X" so I knew it just had to be you. I'll never forget when you told me when John and I were getting married that you would have loved being one of our kids!!!! You probably don't remember that but it was one of the best compliments I have ever rec'd!!!! I'm sorry to hear about your loss but Thank God you have a wonderful son to love you so. Anyway, it's been really good to "talk" to you... I have thot of you often, believe it or not :-)
Crazy huh.....
That is so interesting that you were born in the town I am now living in and you are living where I am from.
Did you go to school in Faribault in your early years?
I don't know whether you ever heard of Bishop Whipple - I am starting a book on him - actually at the research phase - I plan to turn it into a novel - working up at Shattick School doing research up there as well as his old cathedral - Do you remember the bluffs along the Straight River with the caves? There are a lot of mysteries hidden in those caves - there is now a whole cheeze factory in one of them now!
Well Faribault - where Grumpy Old Men was filmed.
I just watched it again.
That is so cool you knew Mike Northrup - he was just 20 years old when I last saw him - full of energy -
I got witnessed to in the lounge - having a beer with a guy when I was at URI - I lived in Ellery Hall - it was a wild place. Moved into The Way Home in 75 and Barrie Hill was my buddy - we went state WOW together -wonderful people. Allison Heany started it all. Bless her heart.
I don't remember Mary Beth but that does not mean she wasn't around - there were so many of college believers together then.
I long to go back to RI to visit - it has been so long - I mentioned to Ellen Fowler we ought to have some sort of reunion - she is in Ireland and said she would come!
I will be out to New England this summer - up in Maine maybe I can figure out how to get down to RI.
Well - I do love Minnesota - it has become home.
You know - Minnesota Nice.
I love the North Shore up near Deuluth - beautiful drive up to Grand Marias - that shore remind me of New England's coast - in some ways,
So nice of you to comment back.

Very nice to "meet" you! I was born in Faribault, raised in Edina, and got in the Word in Duluth. How funny you being there and I here! I enjoyed seeing the pictures of your beautiful children as well as the lovely backdrop of Minnesota scenery. I attended URI as well and appreciate the areas you mentioned. I wonder if you know Marybeth Ferretti? Was she here still when you go into the Word? As for Mike & Martha Northrup, we were together in the 14th Corps. How lovely to think of them again!
Thanks for reaching out. Enjoy this beautiful day and God bless you!

I am making a comment simply because you live in Rhode Island where I first took PFAL. My grandfather lived there his whole working years - he was the minister in Providence at Beneficent - on Weybosset Street and my mother grew up there - I lived with my grandfather in Foster and went for a year at URI in Kingston.
So I live in Minnesota now.
Well Hi to you.

Interim Corps togther. We both had the same thumbs. I am at peace with mine. I know its goofy and silly but it's an unforgettable feature, don't you think.
I am sorry about your husband. It's tough, but you got to keep going for the child. Oh honey, I feel so bad for you.
Are you still the most beautiful lady I ever met?
Love,
Janis
