You too are as gorgeous as ever! A merry heart does do good like a medicine! Also MonaVie! My brother Frank got me started with it about 7 months ago. I was having back issues and Mon Avie completed the healing process. I got Jeff Probasco using MonaVie too. He does a lot of marathon running and was having problems with his knees. MonaVie helped heal those joints for him and also caused him not to have to wear reading glasses! The stories go on and on don't they?! I'm working on convincing my husband and boys but they haven't quite seen "the light" yet.
What, no music on your page? I would love to hear your voice again, even if it's an old recording. If you feel so inspired, add one to your page! Cia, Trica
Somehow my response got on my page rather than yours. Give it a read when you can.
God loves you!
Chas.
Thank you so much for your email. It is great to hear about your family. I know you are proud of your daughters. We live about 2 and a half to 3 hrs from Charlotte. It'd be great to see ya'll and have some fellowship time. We will have to keep in touch. Just let us know when you're down in our neck of the woods. Please give my love to Brenda!! God bless and thank you for sharing your poem. I loved it.. Love , Vickie
I just wanted to say "Hey" and God bless. I was deeply touched by your comments. Somehow I couldn't locate them on my site. I received a comment from Shai Anderson, whom I had responded to and noticed that you had also written him. So I picked up your site through him, and here I am.
I had forgotten the exhortation that I used so frequently years ago to encourage others to "take one more step, just one more step." I have since expanded the words of encouragement to "take one more day, just one more day." Recently I found myself in somewhat of a vise--I was caught in between a rock and a proverbial hard place. Like David I found myself in the cave of Adullam. In fact, I composed a poem that captured the essence of my state of mind when I found myself in "A Cave of Adullam of My Own." I will attach a copy to share with you. All I'm saying is that from time to time we all encounter situations whereby, like David, we have to encourage ourselves in the Lord, our God. I was greatly encouraged when you brought to mind that I had encouraged others in the past. Thanks for sharing.
I have really appreciated reconnecting with folk from North Carolina. We spent nine wonderful years in Fayetteville when I taught at Fayetteville State from 1985-94. We left and moved to Columbus when I accepted a teaching position at Otterbein College. Our older daughter, Melissa, stayed behind to graduate from EE Smith High School in Fayetteville and to reign as "Miss Teen Fayetteville" her senior year. Our younger daughter, Angela, came to Columbus with Brenda and me, and she returned to go Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte after graduating from high school here in Ohio. She is a middle school language arts teacher in Charlotte. We have fond memories of the Tar Heel State, and we try to get back at least once a year. We spent Thanksgiving with Angela this year. Perhaps one of these times we can get together "for old times sake." I commented to Shai how much we liked North Carolina, and he mentioned getting together one of the times when we're back in that "neck of the woods."
It was great hearing from you, and reconnecting.
Still serving the Lord, after all these years.
A Cave of Adullam of My Own
David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. So when his brothers and all his father’s house heard it,they went down there to him.
And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him.
So he became captain over them. And there were about four hundred men with him.
I Samuel 22:1-2
“Your cave can be a good place”
Apostle David Pittman
In a place set aside for those who seek to hide,
Where thick darkness tries to hold back the light of day,
In debt, of no reputation, and stripped of pride,
Where obstacles on every side block my pathway;
Divorced from every resource that could comfort me,
Bankrupt and having goods of little or no worth.
Bound by lack, I have forgotten prosperity,
Though assured that seeds sown in the dark womb still give birth.
Distressed and discontented, in despair of life,
I live in a cave of Adullam of my own,
As I attempt to dispel confusion and strife
In this place where I measure how much I have grown.
In my cavern, teach me lessons I need to learn,
That I might also instruct others in return.

I'm not really a blonde. It's just a goofy pic I used when I was trying on a wig.
You look great! I also am a Mona Vie distributor AND I have a daughther, Anna, 18 and a song, Nic, 15! And I still burst out in song every once in awhile singing, "Ride 'em Cowboy, don't let 'em bring you down!" My family all know you and Ellie Rae because I tell them all the good memmories of being with you in Gunnison and when you came to visit Jeff and me in Miami.
Anyway, bless you Sista! You will always be special to me, Tricia
