We are outside of Sydney. After SLU, I went WOW, then graduate school, then 15th Corps, then staff for a year, then married an international believer (Australian from Greek parents), and then we lived in Greece for 8 years, having a fellowship in northern Greece and helping out where we could elsewhere in the country. Then, God said get ready to go, I packed the boxes, and then He said where. So here we are!
That is it in a nutshell, the abbreviated version.
I was up in the North Country about 20 years ago (scary, how long ago it was), taking my husband and another Greek believer on the tour from Michigan, through Niagara Falls, then Canton, and back to NYC. We were really blessed to find Nancy B, as loving and given to hospitality as always. I have tried to find Lamar over the internet through the years, but never seem to manage.
I tell the stories of those times to my kids. What great learning for them and for me.
This site is great fun. You can catch up with old friends and find out what they've been doing. There are pictures and photos to see, ideas to share, and music to listen to.
Go ahead and click on some of the TABS just under the Way Corps header picture at the top - to start finding out what is happening here and what you can do. If you click on the "Help and Tips" tab, you will find a basic guide to navigating our site and you'll see how to connect with old friends, customize your page and lots more.
On your profile, please include as much as you like about yourself. You can add more details, or change and delete information later.
Many members have posted pictures of their children and families, as well as their hobbies and interests. Perhaps you have some photos you'd like to share too.
As you look around, you may have a few questions. There are answers in the "Help and Tips"section.
If you get stuck, please feel free to contact me or John (site originator) or any other members who have been here a while. I will be glad to help if I can. Just send me a message.
Here is a welcome letter from John Richeson who started this site a few years ago.
Welcome, it's good to have you here. Enjoy yourself!
