"I am surprised that you remember me after all...you were the elder corps and I was the younger. Even today I enjoy humor at work. My boss is a HOOT ( Ohio speak) and everyday we get a lot of work done while we are goofy as ever.
"Is this the very cute "Timmy" Martindale I used to know? I am sure you don't remember me but I wanted to tell you that you are precious in God's sight."
Terry--thanks for "friending" me here. I need to check in more often. I did stop by your office one day last year--had to get to an appointment, so I couldn't stay, and you weren't there--but was thinking of you. Love to Mark and the chillun!
I can't tell you how happy that comment made me feel. I've always had a high regard and deep respect for anyone who laughs at my jokes! The memory of you brings a big smile on my face. I'm sure you've lit up plenty of lives since those painting days. Thanks-Tom
Sacasm will get you everywhere!! Ha Ha. Good to hear from you Terrence. How are you and the rest of the family doing? We're blessed to have mom back with us. She is doing well albeit a little cold. It hasn't quite warmed up enough yet to suit her taste. But Spring is here so the warmer weather should be just around the corner. This is a pretty cool site. I was told about it a while ago and it has been great hooking up with long lost friends AND family again. We definitely need to do an Olthouse/Lind reunion like the one Mark annually goes to in Michigan. You know that Donny's getting married so perhaps the wedding could also serve as the first annual reunion. No invitations have gone out yet but save August 1st as a must attend occassion. Okay? It's in Baltimore, but the Mark J. Olthouse family I remember never shied away from a little road trip in the past. Anyway, I'm sure we will all talk again before then and we can try to get this to happen. Send my (our) love to all of you Buckeye Olthouses. We love you.
