  • Hey beautiful! Did you get my last phone message? You're doin it, babe! What a sacrifice you are making for Him with reverence and graciousness. I am so proud of you -- God is squeezing you tight -- can you feel it? Just a couple more weeks til we party over you! xxxooo
  • Terri,

I just read your comment to Dan Haas' blog regarding "Lonnell and Me", in which he explained the providential circumstances whereby we reconnected after more than twenty years apart. He mentioned one of my poems "Good News Day" which I stumbled across on his "Fellow Laborers" website a number of years ago. You mentioned that you had intended to make a copy, but you evidently failed to do that before he discontinued the site. Well,
look no further. Here is a copy of the poem just for you. I have finally succeeded in downloading on my Way Corps webpage a sampling of some of poetry which I read as well as "sing." I have also successfully downloaded Dan Haas' rendition of one of my blues pieces "No Mo Blues" which he does a masterful interpretation of.

I trust you will be delighted and inspired by the poetry and the music. May this weekend be a most memorable one for you and your family, as we reflect with deepest gratitude to God, our Father, for His precious gift--Jesus Christ, our Savior, who was broken and poured out, battered and bruised. Though beaten beyond recognition, Christ triumphed over his enemies, making a show of them as he led captivity captive. Because He lives, I can face tomorrow with confidence, assured that God's faithfulness is unending. By the way, thanks for the two songs that ministered to me as I entered your webpage. "He's Always Been Faithful" touched me deeply. Thank you.

Ever serving the Lord with joy.

    Good News Day
    This is the day the LORD has made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it.
    Psalm 118:24

    It’s a good new day
    no blues day

    no way to lose
    What a good new day

    It’s a great day
    I can’t wait day
    lift your voice
    let’s rejoice
Good God, a good news day

    It’s a payday
    goin my way day
    no nay--all yea
    what you say
    Such a good news day

It’s a live it up day
    overflowin cup day
    It’s a bright and bubbly
    doubly lovely
    Show-nuff good news day

  • Terri,
Yeah, I did talk to a few people. What a blessing. Thanks! Terri it was great to talk to you , I found a picture you sent a few years back and I keep it where I can see it so I can S.I.T. much!!! I know we've moved a few times. Say hello to the family.
    Love you
    Judi
  • Hi,

Thanks for updating me on the girls. Racquel's email address is raditsracquel@mac.com. She would love to hear from Tracey and Amy.

I recently heard about your diagnosis and will be interceding for you. I told Dane what H. is up to.

    with love,
    Sue
  • Absolutely would LOVE to talk with you! Thank you for praying for me. I've been praying for you and your family, too! There are thousands of people you don't even know praying for you! I've put your name on many prayer lists in many different arenas and now when people see or hear from me they say, How's your friend, Terri? There's a Terri in Delaware who is having health problems, and in that prayer circle we pray for Terri East and Terri West! I do get your e-mails forwarded to me from Kathy to Stephanie Minch. I will call you soon -- I was trying to give you a reprieve from my chattiness. But, you asked for it baby girl! Sadie is well.. as far as I know. She cannot hear on the telephone anymore and her memory is failing. She really needs to be around people who love her, and it breaks my heart to know she is pretty much on her own out in California. Danielle and I are going to visit her on 4/24 (the day after her 92nd b'day!). We can hardly wait! Thank you for asking about her.
Love you, truly, dearly, and intensely r
  • Terri, I'm praying for you and hope to hear your voice on the telly soon. Call me when you can - I'll call you right back if need be. You are more than a survivor -- you are a warrior and champion. You reign with the King -- can you hear Him singing over you?
  • Hi Terri,
Just came on the site and see you uploaded pictures--what a thrill to see all of you! You and H do great work--6 gorgeous children! Good thing they look like their MOM!!! When you see everyone's kids, it makes me realize how many years really have gone by!
    Love you both!
  • Terri. oh yes I remember you! I saw your name on the list but I wasn't sure it was you. You look just the same. How can that be..Our kids getting older but not us? Anyway, It is wery nice hearing from you. It looks like all is well with you.

  • Your Right,
I had forgotten about Silver Bay. I think that I even have you on a video. Good word back to me. Glad to see the Lord works in you with His wisdom. Thanks.
    Shalom, D
  • Except for a few more gray hairs, you guys look the same. Awesome
    Say hi to H.
    Shalom, David

BTW, you will have to forgive me as I now recall, the last time I saw you both, I had the job of being a "hatchet man." to you guys. Not the responsiblity I really wanted, nor relished. I cried agter I did it, and even today I still have some of those droplets forming. If in any way I hurt you guys during that period please forgive me. While teaching us some great things, the Corps also instilled a type of hardness. It took years to remove that "brand." I t is good to see that smiling face again.

BTW, what ever happened to that girl you lived with at Dougherty's place that used to chew tobacco. Was her name Fran? I still have a lot of fond memories of these formative years there in the Frontier State.

    Shalom, David

    Shalom
