About Me

This may help you identify me -- when I was in the 7th Corps the last name I had was "Yates." I was Teresa Yates. I am married to a wonderful man named, Larry Neville." We have been together for over 13 years. He was never associated with the ministry, but trust me, he knows all about it. He has met many of my "old" ministry friends, including my ex-husband Phil (who is now his buddy) and he knows and appreciates them as much as I do. I am retired and loving it. My husband and I travel extensively, but the majority of travel is to go to Texas to visit the grand kids. My son David is a journalist and is in the middle of writing a terrific novel, some of his articles have gone national. He is married to a lovely girl, Stacie and they promise me grand kids by the year 2012. My son Justin is married to an equally lovely girl, Kristin and they have given me three beautiful grand daughters, Hope (10), Grace (3) and Faith (1). The youngest of my 3 Stephen is still single. He owns his own Tattoo Studio in Friendswood, Texas, The name is Mainline Ink (check out his web site). He is a fine custom artist. As you can tell, I am proud of all of them. And... I thank God daily for the blessings each of them have brought into my life.

My Interests

Ministering - I work with Hospice. I am in a middle of writing a book with my sister. Traveling and connecting with old friends. I am constantly busy with something.

Employment or Career

RETIRED and loving it!! I went back to school and got my degree in Business Management. I was in management with a telecommunications company for 20 years. As times got tough, they started laying off and I was caught in that transitioning. But I looked at it as a blessing from God and took full advantage of becoming a part of the retirement community. But even though I am retired, I do believe I am busier now!

Music I Like

I find enjoyment in almost all types of the music, but my favorite is still the 60's, and 70's.

Books I Like

Classics, Self Help and Sci Fi.

Television I like

Law and Order (a must!) -- Two and Half Men, and the reality show that hooked me was, America's Got Talent. (Go figure)

Movies I like

Comedy and Sci Fi -- Every now and then, I just have to see a "girly, girl movie." But not often, which my husband is thankful for.

Sports Teams I like

True and Blue to the Dodgers, Kings and 49ers

Hi Teresa - I married an Irishman 4 1/2 years ago and moved two teenage children to Ireland. Not to be recommended as a way to start a marriage, but we all survived and both my kids are now here of their own free will. God is amazingly good and kind... I'd love to see pictures of your sons - I have great memories of them in Michigan when they were way small! XX

Hi Theresa I was so surprised to hear from you! Sounds like you have a rewarding and enjoyable life. You look very happy in your photo and as lovely as always. My son, Jonathan, got married in June and so I am also looking forward to Grandkids, although I don't think it will be any time soon as my new daughter-in-law is into her career. I still have Melissa (23) at home in between flights, she's a flight attendant for Continental and a real sweetheart. HI Teresa, So wonderful to hear from you. I so honor you for what you do with hospice.I have always wanted to help folks transition, but the door hasen't opened for me yet. We have been taught to fear death, so we struggle to "hang on". My desire has been to help people know that its "okay" to let go. Being in such a small town,my desire isen't catching on at all. I'm practicing patience. I would love to organize a cruise for who ever would like to get together. it would be great to see you as well. Love to you as well, Larkin
