  • Sylvia, of course I remember you and Charles and have thought of you many, many times over the years as well. It is so great to hear from you and you live so close! Your love and care had a huge impact on my life and I am very thankful for both of you. I will write soon.
  • Hey,

I had fun at Emporia. I was in the 14th Corps. And we had our own organist. Tony. He was awesome.

    Welcome!

  • Hi Sylvia - I remember you from the old days in Westchester county - meeting at that Eastchester church. You ran the choir and a fellowship slightly north - was it Armonk or somewhere near there? Ruth and I are about the same age-we knew each other better. I was one of the wild ones with all the hair, from Mamaroneck.
Welcome to the site - it has been great to catch up to long-standing friends again. Enjoy!
  • Hello Sylvia and Charles
Good to see your name here. It's been a long time since those days of old.I recall your steadfast service to God's people.
As for me I live in Florida and still singing those gospel songs.
    God Bless You
    Ted
  • Sylvia and Charles,
It is wonderful to see you here and leave a message to you. Steve and I were just thinking of you recently and wondering where you were. Your presence and contribution were such a blessing to so many at Emporia. Sylvia, do you have an opportunity to play the organ now? Steve has so often talked about how much he enjoyed watching you play it.
    Love, Sara
  • Charles & Sylvia,
Are you still on the cold East coast or the warm West coast? I will be on the West coast on Biz for the month of March, would like to see ya face to face again!
    Love ya,
