About Me
I have been married to Robert Kerr (Bob) for 20 years. We met in Fort Myers, Florida. He was mentored by Gail Winegarner. We moved to Warsaw, Illinois in 1992 and bought a farm. We have been farming ever since. We have three children: RObbie (19), Ryan, (16) and Lauren ((14) I noticed a question asking about the flood in the Midwest. We were flooded out of our farm and home. We have started a website called dearproject.com. I would appreciate it if you would check this site out. dear stands for dredge, elevate and repair.
My Interests
I still enjoy running, Taebo, reading, gardening, spending time with my family. MY husband and sons are black belts in Tang So Do martial arts. My daughter used to be in all sorts of dance but has turned into a jock. She is into basketball and volleyball.
Employment or Career
I have worked as a special education teacher for almost 25 years. I am currently working with the elementary level. I finished my administration degree and would like to move in that area my last years of teaching.
Music I Like
I love Christian music- my current favorite is Emberlin. i also like Delirious, Super Chick. I love Hillsong. My husband and son play lead and bass guitar in a praise and worship band and I sing back up. We do a lot of Hillsong material and Gateway material.
Books I Like
Most anything that I can get my hands on. I am an avid reader. I don't have time for bookclubs soo I find out what they are reading and I read the same.
Television I like
Well- I shouldn't watch the murder shows but I like CSI. I also like Numbers.
Movies I like
GIrlie movies! Youknow- crying chick flicks. My husband likes action movies so we have to compromise.
Sports Teams I like
My son's football team and my daughter's basketball and volleyball teams. I sort of follow VIrginia Tech. I alsoa like the Cardinals.

Nice to see you here and catch up on what you are doing. Hope you recover quickly from the flooding, will keep in our prayers. One of my sons studied sustainable agriculture at college and hopes to one day farm in Africa ( where he will be dealing with drought no doubt). So nice to know that we can look to God for all our cares.

My masters is in business which opened doors for me at this companyt, but really just goes to show how gullible some people are. I learned 1,000 times more in the Corps than college, at least when it comes to motivating people and getting things done. And since 99% of success in business comes from those two things, I would say that the Corps was a better training ground for business than just about anything else.
Did this latest round of Hurricane Ike dump much on you? We've had flooding in our area, although not at our place since we live on top of a dune with about 100 feet of sand under us.
I see this everyday in my store. Have never seen anything like this in 57 years of living.
Our store in CR is the top store in the company right now. Makes me feel sort of sad, but the local economy still has to keep prospering. What an enigma for a believer, huh?
With both kids in college we r going thru some challenging times both financially and emotionally. I'd appreciate some prayer in our direction. Would love to hear from you again Sue. Mike Nissen
I have moved into the music appreciation stage of life. I just provide the means for my kids to express themselves - I just noodle around on the piano once in while.
Sounds like you have a very active and fun church. Front row singers are the backbone of the group. The trick is to just keep singing louder until everyone can hear you clearly.
I'll try to ring you tomorrow.
Love you!!

So to speak.
I did it at LEAD and two years later they were still singing it that way in Tinnie. We could have made a great songwriting team: Gilbert & Sullivan, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lennon & McCartney and Youngblood & McCaw.
It's been a blast re-igniting old friendships on this website. What a classy bunch of people I was blessed to have been a part of. I always felt sort of out of place with so many people who are great examples of genuine believing and commitment to God's Word, and even more so now when I see how marvelous everyone has turned out. I'm a white sock at a tuxedo convention.
Oh well. We're family so you're all stuck with me.
