About Me
I have been married to Robert Kerr (Bob) for 20 years. We met in Fort Myers, Florida. He was mentored by Gail Winegarner. We moved to Warsaw, Illinois in 1992 and bought a farm. We have been farming ever since. We have three children: RObbie (19), Ryan, (16) and Lauren ((14) I noticed a question asking about the flood in the Midwest. We were flooded out of our farm and home. We have started a website called dearproject.com. I would appreciate it if you would check this site out. dear stands for dredge, elevate and repair.
My Interests
I still enjoy running, Taebo, reading, gardening, spending time with my family. MY husband and sons are black belts in Tang So Do martial arts. My daughter used to be in all sorts of dance but has turned into a jock. She is into basketball and volleyball.
Employment or Career
I have worked as a special education teacher for almost 25 years. I am currently working with the elementary level. I finished my administration degree and would like to move in that area my last years of teaching.
Music I Like
I love Christian music- my current favorite is Emberlin. i also like Delirious, Super Chick. I love Hillsong. My husband and son play lead and bass guitar in a praise and worship band and I sing back up. We do a lot of Hillsong material and Gateway material.
Books I Like
Most anything that I can get my hands on. I am an avid reader. I don't have time for bookclubs soo I find out what they are reading and I read the same.
Television I like
Well- I shouldn't watch the murder shows but I like CSI. I also like Numbers.
Movies I like
GIrlie movies! Youknow- crying chick flicks. My husband likes action movies so we have to compromise.
Sports Teams I like
My son's football team and my daughter's basketball and volleyball teams. I sort of follow VIrginia Tech. I alsoa like the Cardinals.
Comments
This area is tech crazy so it has been cool to become part of all that. My daughter loves going there too. I am getting used to the colors LOL.

I just read a note you wrote about going to your Dad's funeral. Girl, you are in my prayers big time. I am so sorry to hear that. You have my prayers and heart - if I can do anything else for you let me know. Praying for Bob also that God just gives you guys great strength.
love,
Ray
Sorry to hear about your house and farm, again. I was thinking about you guys during the flooding this year. That has got to be very stressful - but I know you guys are real strong. Donna and I are doing good. Jessica is in first grade. She broke both arms a couple of weeks ago but it has not slowed her down at all. She is a very active little girl and keeps me young. Give my love to the family.
God's Blessings.
Ray
Good to here from you! I've just recently found this site. It has been a blessing to hear about those we've known and shared so much with in the past. Your life sounds blessed as mine is also. I'm sad to say that Cassady has not chosen the best life so far. My husband and I are raising her two youngest children, which we are truly thrilled to be able to do. You could keep her in your prayers. She could pull it together if she makes up her mind.
Hey, Mary Cathey Pride lives in Asheville, NC. She is still married to Gilbert. Latoya is beautiful and I believe she has 3 children. I may be in touch with her in November and I'll give her your e-mail address. Thanks for asking about our family. Love, Robin Mason
Even when I go out, I do not want to be a public nuicance by breaking the girls necks turning to look. It comes down to a safety issue. HaHa.
I have a masters in special education from Vanderbilt University, and a Masters in education administration from NORthWest University. SO far I haven't gone into administration. That is because I teach in Iowa and my children attend school in Illinois. SInce they are at the high school age, they are super involved in sports, activities, and I want to be there. IF I was an administrator, I would have to supervise night activities in Iowa. I am waiting for the kids to get out of school to apply. have been a special educator for 25 years- that sounds old!I
