About Me
Still married, still in Chula Vista. We had a challenging period when my husband was out of work but he became a city bus driver last June, 2014. I still work for ICE but not in Fugitive Operations anymore. Now I'm in "Nondetained" - aliens who have ongoing court cases, etc. Lots of changes in the Immigration world.
We still have our Lab, Geoffrey who is almost 11. My daughter is now 28 and is student teaching and working to get her credential.
I've been in the Red Hat Society since 2005. On Sunday mornings I get together with a group of other dog owners and we take a long walk in an open field area with the dogs off leash. They love it! One of the dogs chases coyotes and they run away.
Time goes by so fast!!
My Interests
Gardening, cross-stich, walking the dog, reading (mostly on the trolley these days). My guitar sits in the corner these days. I took piano lessons when I turned 40.
Employment or Career
I have worked for ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) since 1996. I help deport people. Currently I work for the Fugitive Operations Unit that focuses on people who already have deport orders. I work behind the scene tracking them down. (I joke about how I could run a class for illegal aliens on how to never get caught). Once in awhile the guys I work with are in the news. Lou Dobbs on CNN had a thing about them once.
Music I Like
soft rock, country (not twangy though)
Books I Like
Political books, mostly right-wing, true crime like Ann Rule, a good novel once in awhile. Just bought "Rescuing Sprite" by Mark Levin.
Television I like
Intervention, House, American Idol, Grey's Anatomy, and do I dare admit this but I really like Dr. Phil.
Movies I like
Clueless, Titanic, Phantom of the Opera. Every year before the Oscars my daughter and I go to the AMC Oscar Showcase and over two Saturdays they show all the Best Picture nominations. A movie marathon! Then on Oscar night we pour some wine and watch the awards.
Sports Teams I like
Not my thing. At work the guys talk about football and I don't have a clue what they're talking about.

Happy birthday Sherry. Hope you have a fun filled day.
All is good here North of Boston right next to the New Hampture border.
Good to hear from you.
Take care!
My daughter, now 15, plugs in her Dance Dance Revolution mat and scrolls through the song list...she selects "Funky Town", which I literally haven't heard (or at least remember hearing) since I was working on some Divine Design marquis posters for some classes running at The Way College of Emporia ..... with you! Crazy, huh? I guess I am at the age where I have a better recollection of some events when I hear certain tunes. Anyway, I thought you'd get a smile out of that...I did!
God bless you Sherry
Jeff
Thank you for your kind words of support. Apocalypse Soon was the first book I wrote and it got into the bestsellers here in Ireland 10 years ago. It is good for believers starting out in End Times studies or for evangelising to non Christians.
I try to write with the non Christian in mind so that they might get salvation in reading my books. And so far, thanks be to God, a lot of folks have come to a realisation of Jesus through the books.
I believe the prophecies of the Last Days are a great excuse to speak the Word to people as most folks are uneasy and uncertain about the near future anyway. So it is pushing an open door to talk with them about the signs of the end and about the gathering together.
Truely we live in exciting times.
Thanks again Sherry for getting my books. Perhaps we can win a soul for the Lord between us by sharing them around.
God bless,
Paddy
Boy, seeing your face brought back a load of memories from New Bedford. Your face brings warm, good feelings to my heart. I loved who you were in those days--your heart, unabated honesty, and witty, quirky humor--and from reading your profile, I can see that those qualities haven't changed in you. Thank God. Do you actually work undercover? You know, I can visualize you doing that with a wide brim hat sitting low on your brow, barely revealing your inquiring eyes. Have you heard from Jerry Brown through the years? I've wondered about him and Paula Olson so many times. Wouldn't it be fun to gather together for an evening, all of us, including Pete Larocque? I'd love to hear everyone's memories of those days we shared together, because that long ago, a lot is fuzzy now...know what I mean? It's great to get to re-connect with you and to see your beautiful family...your daughter is gorgeous (just like her Mom). Wow...so many years have gone by! I can't believe you put down your guitar, I loved your music; especially your unique voice.
Love you, Teresa
I need the blonde to cover the grey!!
This website is cool. Thanks for telling me about it. I'm sure we'll have fun with this! Your pic looks really good, am glad we've kept in touch all these years. Will write more later (I'm at work right now!)
