Sorry that I have not been on much recently. Lyn's mother has been back and forth in the hospital since Christmas with her sisters coming in at various times to visit her. It's been up and down with some days being good and some days being rushed into ICU. Nevertheless, Claire is doing better and may be coming home this week, so I should be on this site more often to say hi.

Many blessings to you, Greg Moore
You are so right! The Great Debaters is my kind of flick. We (the family here in Columbus) saw it over Christmas, and we were deeply inspired and moved. Having taught African American literature for a number of years, I was familiar with Melvin B. Tolson (Denzel's character) and his enigmatically dense poetry. He was much more eccentric than Denzel portrayed him in the film. I really enjoyed the movie. Thanks for the recommendation. I don't get to see that many films, so I am always looking for exceptional one that might be worth the time spent viewing them. "The Great Debaters" is definitely worth watching.
Bless,
Lonnell
Totally cool you are on this . . . and what a great idea to have your Junior Corps name tag serve as your main picture! You and Timeri are truly God's best and will be a blessing to everyone on here. Love you broski.
Great to hear from you Bro. Hope all is well with you and Timeri. Great pics on the page.
We sure miss you over here in Hawaii, Bro.
God is taking good care of us, Britney is growing like crazy. Pauline is homeschooling her back here on Oahu.
We're in the dame house in Kaneohe, doing fellowship Sun. am's.
Glenn and Donna ?????? (believers from Naperville) came to Oahu with a believer from the Big island. We had a great day together. (their last name escapes me)
Hey Bro' come see us sometime. You are God's Best -- !!!
Dennis, Pat & Lisa are well (with a new 6 month old baby) Joey & Mary, Jeannine, Tara, Devin, etc., are all good -- missed quite a few but you can find out from them personally when you & Timeri visit.
Love you ,
Tommy O.
I hope you are enjoying your new home. I'm sorry about the loss of your mom. The love of God oozed out of her. She was a beautiful woman and friend. Give your wife our love!

I too have fond memories of that holiday time when you and your family "house-sat" for us in Bloomington. In fact, we had just obtained a miniature poodle, and you guys suggested the name which we selected, "Star." That was such a special time for my family while I was in grad school at IU.
I see that you are in North Carolina which is where I went after left Bloomington. I taught for nine years at Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville for 9 glorious years before coming to Columbus. Our daughters grew up in Fayetteville and consider themselves "North Carolinians." Melissa stayed behind to graduate from EE Smith High School and to reign as Miss Teen Fayetteville during her senior year. Angela came with me and her mom to Columbus, but she returned to go to Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, where she graduated from in 2002. After teaching in Baltimore City Schools last year, Angela returned to teach in Charlotte. Melissa currently lives in Atlanta, where she has established her own marketing consulting business. Check out her website: www.velvetsuitemarketing.com. We get back to North Carolina to visit Angela, usually for Thanksgiving. Speaking of the Tar Heel State, I see that you just heard from Dan "Stretch" Moore, another North Carolinian, whom I knew way back in the day in Baltimore when he first became involved with The Way International. Tell him I said "Hey."
Great to hear from you. Give my regards to your Dad.
