About Me
I am blessed with three wonderful children - Abigail, Ryan and Robert - who all are doing very well : ) Abigail just finished her sophomore year of college (in Indiana), majoring in Equine Studies and minoring in business management (see photos of her at a horse breeding farm in IL.... with the foul she helped deliver, where she's working for the summer). Ryan just completed high school and will be attending a nearby community college in the fall. Robert will be entering 9th grade, and is enjoying learning about golf this summer. My main concentration right now besides being a Mom, teaching the kids the Word and working to support them.... is to do whatever it takes to help them grow, mature and continue along their way with God.
My Interests
Singing Christian songs, swimming laps at the Y, interior design/ home-making related things, gardening, ballroom dancing, playing piano, sailing (haven't done it for years, but certainly do love it and plan to volunteer as "crew" this summer for the local "Wednesday Night Races"!). Also, I REALLY love reading/relaxing with no agenda.......especially on a summer afternoon..... nestled on the rocks on an island in Maine, reading a good book : )
Employment or Career
I'm self-employed, doing anything I know how to do. I work two days a week in an interior design showroom, and also do cleaning, gardening or "whatever" for my mom's friends (all widows) who are in their mid-80's. They've all known me since I was about 5 years old so they have lots of fun feeding me lunch, asking about my kids, and watching me do the chores for them that they used to be able to do themselves. For me It's very rewarding, and for THEIR children it's huge - to know their mom has someone to call upon whom she trusts, and whom they trust to call upon in a time of need.
Music I Like
Anything Christian which I like the lyrics of and melody to (especially Bluegrass and Southern Gospel ). Also.... instrumental guitar, piano, flute, cello etc..
Books I Like
"Aramaic Peshitta New Testament Translation" by Jan Magiera, "Shattering Your Strongholds" by Liberty Savard, "Dining at the Master's Table", "Succeeding in Spiritual Warfare - Lessons from Joshua", and "In the Secret Place" (all by Paul Norcross), and "Alone with God"by Matilda Erickson, to name a few.......
Television I like
I rarely watch television but do sometimes with my kids if we're able to find a movie we can enjoy together.
Movies I like
Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice.........and anything similar.
Sports Teams I like
No favorites in particular, although I do enjoy watching sports with friends if the opportunity ever happens.

I really must get some pictures on my site. I love the pictures you have showing. Great to see your children.
Our boys are 23 and 20. Andrew, the oldest, is in medical school at IU. Ryan is a junior at Ball State.
Have a blessed day. Great to hear from you.

It was fun stumbling on your name and site. I thought I would drop you a note. Where is your daughter in college in IN? Lloyd and I live in Indianapolis.
You look wonderful. You are busy with three children.
Hope to hear from you.
God bless you.

I am so overwhelmed by this web site and being able to connect with people that were so dear to me. Your family is charming and I love seeing the photo's of Maine. Do you ever hear of Mark Fink? I moved back to Maine in 1992 for 18 months. I am a true Mainer, there is no where on earth that I love more. My profession for the past 27 years has been Interior Design. I studied at Harvard after I left Maine and have been working in Scottsdale for the past 14 years. I work on Custom Luxury homes that take me through a 3 year period, from conception to completion. I love it! I will look forward to hearing from you. It has been a long road to overcome but it seems many of us have prospered mentally and as well spiritually. Blessings, Judy
Glad you had fun at Rolex... we have been to Badminton & Burghley here a few times... awesome settings, courses & of course, horses. My cousin, Marcia Kulak, rides & trains eventers. She is based near Saratoga in the summer & West Palm Beach in the winter. She has ridden at Burghley a couple of times.
I went to UK at Lexington in the 70s, that is where I took the class. I have such fond memories of my time there, lots of them with horses...
Raising the kids here in Engie is different... my poor kids will never be truly British - I have worked hard on getting them to be happy in the States as well as here and it seems to have worked. Perhaps one day they will end up there.. I am sure they will go for a while to live in the States, they are card carrying citizens so it will be easy for them to get through the paperwork if not the cultural differences!!!
Anyway, more later...
Cheers, Nancy
Lovingly, Sara

i remember your name and your face is familiar. thanks for responding. do you ever get this way or midcoast? i come down to westbrook once a month for a sun AM meeting for a 12 step program i do a lot of service in. maybe we could meet for coffee sometime? this site is a bit overwhelming to me, and i am being cautious what i share, with whom and where. please feel free to email me if you feel the same and would like to continue dialogue. Bless
You probably don't remember me from the 7th Corps & HQ. I confess it is the photo of your daughter on a horse that prompted me to look at your page. We do seem to have a lot in common... three kids: girl into horses, boy into marine biology, another girl but mine is into theatre, I was into accounting!
I was wondering, since you help look after her dad, if you could give me a brief update on Debi Huntoon? We were friends in the Corps & I miss not seeing her here...
All the best to you, and love, Nancy
ps I persist in riding western even though I live in England!
