About Me
I am blessed with three wonderful children - Abigail, Ryan and Robert - who all are doing very well : ) Abigail just finished her sophomore year of college (in Indiana), majoring in Equine Studies and minoring in business management (see photos of her at a horse breeding farm in IL.... with the foul she helped deliver, where she's working for the summer). Ryan just completed high school and will be attending a nearby community college in the fall. Robert will be entering 9th grade, and is enjoying learning about golf this summer. My main concentration right now besides being a Mom, teaching the kids the Word and working to support them.... is to do whatever it takes to help them grow, mature and continue along their way with God.
My Interests
Singing Christian songs, swimming laps at the Y, interior design/ home-making related things, gardening, ballroom dancing, playing piano, sailing (haven't done it for years, but certainly do love it and plan to volunteer as "crew" this summer for the local "Wednesday Night Races"!). Also, I REALLY love reading/relaxing with no agenda.......especially on a summer afternoon..... nestled on the rocks on an island in Maine, reading a good book : )
Employment or Career
I'm self-employed, doing anything I know how to do. I work two days a week in an interior design showroom, and also do cleaning, gardening or "whatever" for my mom's friends (all widows) who are in their mid-80's. They've all known me since I was about 5 years old so they have lots of fun feeding me lunch, asking about my kids, and watching me do the chores for them that they used to be able to do themselves. For me It's very rewarding, and for THEIR children it's huge - to know their mom has someone to call upon whom she trusts, and whom they trust to call upon in a time of need.
Music I Like
Anything Christian which I like the lyrics of and melody to (especially Bluegrass and Southern Gospel ). Also.... instrumental guitar, piano, flute, cello etc..
Books I Like
"Aramaic Peshitta New Testament Translation" by Jan Magiera, "Shattering Your Strongholds" by Liberty Savard, "Dining at the Master's Table", "Succeeding in Spiritual Warfare - Lessons from Joshua", and "In the Secret Place" (all by Paul Norcross), and "Alone with God"by Matilda Erickson, to name a few.......
Television I like
I rarely watch television but do sometimes with my kids if we're able to find a movie we can enjoy together.
Movies I like
Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice.........and anything similar.
Sports Teams I like
No favorites in particular, although I do enjoy watching sports with friends if the opportunity ever happens.

Pray for us as we pray for you, Eph. 6:18. Love to Todd and family as well, ok. You're His masterpiece,

No way would I forget you, Sara. I truly enjoyed my time in the Corps with you. Re: the picture, we need to get a scanner. I've told Jack, but we rarely shop in the electronics department. Our oldest son, Johnny Ray, only recently convinced Jack to get a cell phone! Speaking of Johnny Ray; he is married almost 6 years and in the Navy 6 1/2. He married his high school sweetheart. They have blessed us with our first grandson, Johnathon Riley who is now 16 months and our second, Joseph Ray, is on the way. Our youngest son, Jake is in California with his Uncle Jim learning to work on Jaguars in Jim's shop and attending auto mechanics school. Jake is 22 and Johnny Ray is 25 as is Lisa, his wife.
Jack talked me into taking up golf by buying me a set of clubs for Father's Day a few years back, so that has become our recreational activity together. We are abundantly blessed and would love to have you come visit and stay with us here in Pace anytime. Lonnie Nelson (8th Corps) and his wife, Vicki (9th Corp?) were just through.
Keep holding It high Sara,
So wonderful to hear from you and would love to hear more,
Tina
You got me. Well deserved ribbing; well taken. I will work on the photo.
Have you aged a single day? Bottle that stuff and sell it.
Cheryl and I are in AZ; our kids love God and we love them. Yippee!
It is great to hear from you.
God bless,
Rob
What a joy to hear from you and to hear about those great children. Tell Robert he can study over here on the big Island all he wants about whales, doilphins, etc.etc.! Which school is Abigail attending in Indiana? Our boys may be close by.
Elisha's in Chicago and Clint in Kalamazoo.
Beth and I are well, and have our hands full with work and ministering to drug and alcohol affected young people. Keep us in your prayers and yes, let's stay in better contact. My e-mail is: chasrix@hotmail
You know we love you sister, very much, in Christ,
