"This is a grotto we found on the road from Vientian to Luang Prabang in Laos... Check out the almost cat-like faces... This is my old friend Ken and I, we grew up together in Laos and Thailand and he is now retired in Laos..."
"The next cycle, you always escape to the next cycle but it varies from person to person as to what that cycle becomes and what accompanies you from cycle to cycle. For me, it worked out just fine putting physical (as well as mental) distance between…"

"Hey Kid! Sure, I do remember thise prints. In fact I remember fondly the year you shared you home with me but it seems another incarnation looking back. I'm still the same person, I just don't drink the Kool-Aide anymore.. We have a home office…"
"Hey Kathy... So you are "down Delaware" now. My mom's family is from Delmarva and I have spent lots of fond times there, mostly in "slower lower" which is more my speed... You look good and your daughter has the same shine you had (and still do) so…"
"Yes, I do remember... You, the read-hedded girl from Knoxville, and the two guys who's faces I can picture, but nanmes escape me... So, El Lay is a long way from Kocomo (sp) Indiana, not quite as far as Saigon, but my escape took me further than…"

Sandy,
How great to hear from you. I have often thought about you. Last I heard you were in China I thought, Saigon makes sense. You are a special soul and my life has been the better for knowing you.
The last couple of years I have reconnected with Alison H. she is a lovely woman, we email each other from time to time.
No this is different wife, trying to get it right; some of us require a great deal of practice.
Life is mostly fun, would love to see you sometime, hum, add trip to SEA to things to do list. Rarely do I play music, only when drunk or very sentimental.
You look great. So, are you writing, doing tours, being a smuggler? Pray tell what is it you do do?
All the best,
B
Hi Sandy
This company will supply www.expertise.co.th. or try ebay. I saw one in my nephews garage in Oxford, and figured it would be great here in Cornwall. They need some modifications to run on the UK roads, and alot of after-care, to keep them running. After import duty and VAT (tax) etc. they are not cheap.
If you seriously intend to buy one I will help you and save you loads of agravation.
Keep in touch
Andrew

You left the US in 1983? and fled as far away as you could get? Sounds like the way I felt when I was on the verge of getting drafted into the Vietnam war in 1972. I had my passport in hand aand was headed for Canada when the war ended. Yours sounds like an amazing story. I would love to hear more about your adventures. Maybe you can do a Blog Post on your page. Talk to you later.
Sandy Ferguson! Awesome! One of the coolest guys who were ever in TWC. Welcome.
Man, I always thought you were years ahead of your time. You may not remember me as I was one of the quiet types in the background. But we all remember you.
Vietnam. Interesting. Someone sent me a picture of you and your wife and son in his football uniform years ago. Is your wife from Vietnam? Man, sometimes I feel like moving out of this country if you know what I mean. But maybe hope in on the horizon.
Please dust off your old files and pictures from 30 years+ ago and see if you can find any old photos from back in the day. I would love to have them to add to our collection. Post them here.
I hope you enjoy this walk down memory lane and that you can reconnect with some friends from the past. You cas search members under various criteria to look for people. And I truly wish the best for you and your family. Stay in touch. Let me know if I can help you with any aspects of this site. Call or email me any time.
