  • Hi Reed,
    How's it going?
Your family is beautiful, glad you enjoy Boise.

I too work in a high school, started this year,
I love being on my boys schedule.
    Hope to hear from you,
    Syndi
  • It was so great hearing from you. Am really busy because of the holidays, that's why the delay in your reply. Mary lives in Stewart, Florida. She has two boys but it has been about three or four years since last we talked. The Auditorium still has great memories. Love to you and yours, Sheryl
  • Hey there Reed, my family enjoys you too! I plan to be out there in the spring for Dustin's graduation so we have to hook up then!
Yes the Lights of the World video is near and dear to my heart and I would love it if you could get it on this website. I definitely will not have time and I was just talking with Emil about converting it to DVD and sending him a copy. My folks are coming out to NY for 6 week visit starting in January, so maybe my Dad can do it for me while he is here. It was a major struggle getting it done, (there may have been a little bureaucracy blocking our path). A lot of people helped, especially Joanne Archontakis, she was the one who kept me going every time I was ready to give up. I sure hope she shows up in here soon, I want to reconnect with her also.
Any way I am sure that everyone from the 16th would enjoy seeing that video, and to hear it, since many of our Corps recorded music for it. I am sure it will bring back sweet memories for many. Since it covers both in-resi years and Corps weeks there are a few other Corps people in it as well. Especially the 14th since they were our "elder Corps". I have a ton of pictures that were not on the video that I want to load as well, again I will put my Dad to work scanning them for me. I hope he doesn't think he is on vacation while he is here! :) See ya, Lori
  • Hi Reed,

I'm just getting around to responding to comments here.

I teach in a school of Human Environmental Sciences (which grew out of Home Ec.) I teach overview classes that all of our students have to take. Some of them come in with lots of attitude, but they soon learn that doesn't phase me. I love teaching and life is great.

Love the photos of family and especially the dogs.
We have two wondrful dogs after losing tow other wonderful dogs to old age. One of our current dogs was previously owned and trained. He (the dog) has been trying to teach us what he knows, but it appears that he may be brighter than we are. He's quite tolerant of our short-comings.

    great to see you here!

    Ruth
  • Hello Reed! Since you're in Boise where all of my family now is, I hope to see you the next time I come out for a visit!
  • Good to hear from you. We are all doing well here. Will fill you in on details after the holiday. Love to all.

    Matt
  • Hi Reed, Great to hear from you. We often think of some of our time together with you. Thanks for the pictures. I
do not have any to send back though. Sorry! I look forward to seeing you whenever we get out to see Tim.
  • Kristi and Reed,

Great to hear from you! I didn't know you guys were married. We just celebrated our 30th anniversary. can you believe it?! We've actually lived in one city for 19 years!

Yes, David still loves cars, but only owns two at the moment.
(Or at least two that I know about!)

Say hi to Dennis and Sue for us.
  • thanks , Bro , I have it up there for fun , I will get one up with the real me... , good to see everyone here , talk to you later.
  • Finally another LEAD staff in the group. Yes with 3 boys you may not even need to cut the recipe down.:-)
I did the same thing when I first got on. I started digging through shoe boxes of old photo's and was staying up late at night.
